Terrible experience from start to finish.
We agreed to a price of $80 for follow-up service—clear, confirmed, and discussed with their field team. Despite that, the office later tried to charge double with no explanation or notice. When I pushed back, they completely ignored what their own supervisor and field tech had already approved.
Even after escalating the issue, it was obvious the office didn’t care. They dismissed everything that was said in the field and acted like it never happened. Total lack of professionalism.
Appointments were missed or delayed with zero accountability, and the work itself didn’t fix the problem. We had to chase them down just to get basic communication and follow-through.
This company is disorganized, misleading with pricing, and completely unwilling to stand by their word. Save yourself the frustration—go with someone who actually respects their customers and honors their agreements.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way. After reviewing the recorded calls, we’ve observed a very different version of events. You have made public statements across several platforms that negatively impact our reputation.
During these calls, you repeatedly berated our employees, instructed them on how to do their jobs, and claimed to hold a pest control license from Wisconsin. The confusion seems to stem from a discount you received for treating four units. However, you later changed the number of units, which naturally altered the price. Despite this, you’ve requested ongoing discounts on all future services.
Additionally, your units were not properly prepped for treatment, yet you still expected extra work to be completed at a discounted rate. You waited six months before reaching out again, only to ask for another discount. While you’ve complained that our team isn’t helpful, you have contacted them on their days off (Sunday), and they still responded to assist you.
As of now, your bill remains unpaid. We appreciate the opportunity to use these interactions as training examples for our team on how to handle these situations.

I signed up for pest control quarterly and mosquito service less than a year ago via email. They gave me a price and stated in the email exactly this regarding pest control:
    "PCQ
We will provide pest control treatment every three months on the exterior and interior of home (garage, etc.) at a cost of $103.00 per service. This service has a full warranty for the covered insects. Please contact our office if service is needed in between regular visits. Do you agree to the terms of this ongoing service as I have described?"
They have been treating my house, garage and shed every trip till this last time when the technician said only the house was on the receipt. In order to continue spraying the garage and shed, it'd be $133.00 going forward. Instead of just saying they made a mistake (or lied, who knows?) when setting me up initially, they just defend their pricing. I'm not even arguing the pricing. I just want them to acknowledge that I was sold one thing and then months later they changed. Clearly someone made a mistake at Black Diamond so be aware that when they sell you on what all they plan on treating, it is probably incorrect. Instead of admitting that, they will just act like you're lying.
Another gripe I've had is that they don't notify you when they schedule an appointment ahead of time. You'll randomly get a call that your technician is 30 minutes away. So if you aren't retired or don't work from home, that is an issue you may want to consider.
The only positive thing is that the mosquito service really made a difference. They aren't worth the hassle though when there are so many other options and I prefer to keep all of my pest control services with one company.

Management reached out immediately after your last service and again a week later in an attempt to resolve these concerns. We are happy to hear the mosquito service was effective and would love to reconcile this and keep services with you but in the least hope that you will see our customers’ satisfaction is important to us.
We offered to spray your requested area, complimentary, to ensure your shed issues are taken care of on 3/20/24 and again on 3/27/24 and you denied our offer both times. The price you were given for your services was correct, there was no overcharge for the size of the home. The last service run was an out of routine visit that was requested by you per your call to our office. The day of service you asked for treatment for boxelder beetles, which is not included under the general pest warranty plan you signed up for. To add that insect treatment is an additional service/charge. We are always happy to answer any warranty questions by calling the same number you have for other occasions.
As far as notice of arrival is concerned, any agent here is happy to help set up visits that meet customer needs and schedules. You can specify days and times of preference as well as when to be notified. There are many options, some include; advance day ahead, 2 hours before and even create a schedule if you’d like. You can choose Call, text, email, or all.
Please note, we have revised our verbiage in the email response we send out at service set up to reflect a better description of the areas covered under general pest warranty in hopes of avoiding this type of confusion in the future. We do apologize for all the confusion. Our offer to come out and treat the areas you had requested complimentary still stands!

I am an Apartment Manager working with Black Diamond for many years,
They are always on time, great service and truthful answers to your questions!
Ashley in the office is always a step ahead and making you aware of things you may have forgotten. I would choose them every time, and suggest them to my friends with homes. Thanks for being a great partner!

Twenty years ago I entered a contract with BDPC that stated my annual fee for a termite service. My rate has never changed in those 20 years. Recently I received a bill for an increased amount...not much, but not what was contracted. It wasn't about the money, it was the principle. A simple call to me explaining that the contract needed to be renegotiated, thank you for my loyal service and a "we hate to do this" would have been more than enough for me to approve an increase. BDPC's service has been reliable and consistent. With them, I have zero complaints. Things took a turn when the CEO called me about my complaints..one on Facebook, one on BBB. He left several voice mails, called repeatedly back to back. Throughout these conversations, I was bullied, harassed and threatened with legal action. From the CEO: "If you ever say anything bad about my company again I will come after you"; "I'll give you this, the stations are good for three years. I will refund your money and you have three years to find a new service"; when I explained to him that HE was in breach of the contract and could he email me a copy, he said "I will not do that. I can cancel your contract whenever I want"; "It's ridiculous that your rate hasn't increased in 20 years" - to which I reminded him it was BDPC's contract, not mine. These are just to name a few. I'm sorry but as much as I would applaud exemplary service, I feel obliged to share unprofessional/aggressive service as well to protect future consumers. Isn't that why the BBB is here? To appease and calm him down, I took down my posts. The cherry on top... He texted about 5 minutes later thanking me for retracting the post and asked if I was ready to renegotiate my contract. UNBELIEVABLE! The audacity! I could stay silent no longer! This is not the same company with whom I signed a contract 20 years ago. Anyone willing to do the research via BBB, should be made aware of this CEO's business model and practice.
