At A2Z Autos, we genuinely strive to provide high-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. We regret that you have experienced difficulties with your vehicle.
Upon reviewing your case, we understand that when you initially contacted us regarding the issues with your vehicle, we made every effort to accommodate you. We scheduled a time for you to bring the car in, and when you visited our office, we requested that you leave the vehicle for a few hours so we could address the issue. However, you declined this request, citing other commitments and indicating you couldnt leave the car. We advice you that it was not a good idea to drive the car until we address the issue and you declined.
A few days later, we received a follow-up call from you, and it was mentioned that the engine fail. Unfortunately, at that point, we were unable to move forward with any necessary adjustments or repairs due to the prior rejection from the customer to work on the vehicle.
We understand that situations like this can be frustrating, but we must also acknowledge that some decisions made at the customers end impacted the resolution. We want to ensure all our customers are satisfied, and we're truly sorry this wasn't the case.

I financed a vehicle on 6/1/2024. I had no issues at purchase and did a thorough inspection prior to purchase. The dealership offered a free oil change with a repair. They did not give a receipt and had my vehicle for about a week. I picked up my vehicle and drove for 1 day and experienced power failures. I returned to dealer and they agreed to replace the catalytic converter. They took another week to make the repair and then I picked up the vehicle and experienced complete vehicle failure within 3 days on the highway. My vehicle has been towed and at repair facilities since mid July. I purchased a warranty and read the contract with the dealership which states they are responsible for repairs. Indiana lemon laws do not discriminate between new and used and I attempted to take care if the issue with the dealership directly and was yelled at and turned away by the owner.Initial Complaint

My son and I bought a 2013 Audi from this dealership. They were supposed to call my son with an appointment on when they could get this car in their shop to fix a part on it. They never called to make that appointment. He was told he could drive the vehicle until then. Within the 1st 2 weeks this part broke and the car no longer runs. I asked for the return of the car we used as a trade in and in return we would deliver the car we bought, and we could cancel the loan. They screamed at me. I was threatened that IF I showed up on their property that they would "handle" me and remove me from the property. Not by law enforcement but by them. 4 months later the loan company finally helped me get this loan closed and has got them to agree to pick up this car. I since have had the car shipped to ******** to have a better mechanic work on it. Now after 3 phone calls, I have been screamed at again and have been told that I will pay to have the car shipped back to them or they will have me thrown in jail. All I asked for was the return of my trade in or the value of it as a trade in. They have left the Audi car sitting for almost 30 days building storage fees. I simply want my trade in or the value of it. It's not fair they made money on it and leave me the one out of a car, shipping fee's for them not doing their job in the 1st place or the value of the trade in. Our car ran great when it was used as a trade in. Their car did not even make it 2 weeks before it broke down. It was a total lemon!Business Response

I would like to appologies for the whole situation, this couldve solve with better communication. But A2Z Autos does not condone or respect any racist acctions/comments to any of our staff memebers coming from *****. The customers had 2 options that they can wait until the vehicle was fix or they can take it the way it was. They choose to take it they way it was. There was a exteded warranty available for purchase customer declined and stated "He was a mechanic and works on cars and didn't want warranty." Both customer also agreed to the AS-IS Disclosure. Credit Acceptance and A2Z Autos cancell the loan due to the customer refusing to register the vehicle. The title was send to her state and the title clerk waited the stipulated 60 days before returning the title to us. Credit Acceptance reassigned the vehicle to us and we're the legal owners of the Audi. Credit Acceptance also issue a refund that we are willing to hand as long as they return the vehicle to lot.
Please arrange the ***** off of the vehicle ASAP.Customer Answer

I have obtained a copy of my canceled contract with credit acceptance. It shows a GAP cancelation of ****** in the contract. When the purchase of this vehicle took place, the lady doing the closing specifically said, "we will call you when we get the part and can get the car in to replace it. It won't hurt to drive it in the meantime ". With in 2 weeks, the car was broke. In ******** you can not title a vehicle without a state inspection. How can you obtain a state inspection with a non working vehicle. It is impossible. I have proof I called and called trying to get this manner resolved and got no where. The owner, service manager and office manager all screamed and threatened me and kept hanging up the phone. If someone purchases an ***** dollar vehicle, they expect it to stay running and any reputable dealship would stand behind a ***** dollar vehicle and want the customer to be happy. Word of mouth is the best marketing in the world. *you have a good experience, you tell 3 or 4 close friends and family, you have a bad experience, you tell 10 strangers* A total of **** was placed down on this car with the trade in car being a very good running car, that in fact, made a trip from ******* to ******** and back just 30 days prior. This vehicle from A 2 Z didn't even leave town. I tried and tried to get them to work with me to get this vehicle fixed. Even offered to pay half of the cost and still got no where. This has been the biggest mistake of my life trying to do business with this dealership. Now the dealership is holding my refund check hostage and actually told me "I couldn't have it" when I called after finding out the contract was canceled. This check has a cash before date on it. Is already been 30 days. Checks are only good from 90 to 120 days. Which means the clock is ticking. I informed ***** personally where the car was and told him he could pick it up at anytime. And still, I get nothing. All I want is my trade in car or the trade in value, down payment and my refund check. At this point the total is **** on money and trade in, I'd be willing to settle for half, so 900 and my refund check and walk away, ****** learned.Business Response

On June 8th,2023 I purchased a 2016 **** explorer xlt from a to z. They assured me the vehicle had no major issues and sent us on our way. After 27 days we began experiencing issues with the powertrain and transmission to the point where the vehicle couldn't be drove. I contacted A2Z and they said their mechanic was too busy to take a look and advised me to take it to a shop where the warranty could be used. We had it towed for repair who said the transmission cooling hose was rusted out and needed replacement. After contacting the warranty we were told that the repair would not be covered because it was considered a cooling issue. The total cost of repair was ******. A2Z paid 500 toward the repair explaining that it was not their issue and that it was a courtesy if to help with anything. After repair we took the car to an authorized **** dealership that inspected the vehicle and quoted over **** in repairs that needed to be done due to rusted parts. The car has an oil leak, transmission leak, needs a new control arm and both rear shock absorbers need replacement. They sold me a rusted out vehicle for ****** that will need numerous repairs. I contacted them before I had the car for a full 30 days about a refund or swapping out for another vehicle and A2Z said neither of which is an option.Business Response

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the vehicle.
Unfortunately, all of our vehicles are sold AS-IS with No dealer warranty. The buyer will be responsible for any maintenance and repairs after the sale.
****************** and Ms. ***** agreed to our terms by signing our buyers' guide and our AS-IS disclosure.
They purchase a service contract with Credit Acceptance, they would cover only the items listed on the service agreement.
We went out of the way to make things right and agreed to cover some of the repairs based on their request.Initial Complaint

Bought a truck. Was told I needed to buy extended warranty to get financed through Central Acceptance. Had the truck less than 45 days. Truck broke down 900+ miles from home. ******** says on paper it covers all the work. Called warranty company says to call the dealership because they had an obligation to make sure the truck was "road worthy" before selling as such. Made 1 payment and now looking at over 6k for repairs to get it running. They are selling s*** passed off as reliable.Business Response

Any vehicle that we recieve is diagnosed by our mechanics to ensure the vehicle is ready for sale.
Customer came in and test drove the truck twice. They requested specific parts to be replaced in which we did including calipers, brakes and rotors. About a month after purchasing the vehicle customer called and complained that other parts were needed. We tried to have a civil conversation with the customer but they were upset and we were unable to come up with a resolution. All of our vehicles are sold as is, we do our very best to ensure that all vehicles are ready when sold.
