Date of transaction: 1/21/23 I had bought a vehicle with a car lot by the name is AMS cars. I have purchased the vehicle in full with cash and card payments. With the full purchase of the vehicle, I had paid KY tax, title and fees. I was given a bill of sale , a 45 day temp tag and promised title in the mail. After the 45 day **** had passed, we had tried to contact the car lot and was left unanswered for months. County clerk office both in ** and IN have told us to contact the lot for a title. We recently were able to contact the lot but they will not give up the title to the vehicle without payment that was already made when the vehicle was purchased. When told them that we were recommended to file a court order by the IN BMV, the lot had told us they will wait for that, and that the lot isn't the one to give us the title but the auction they purchased the car from. I don't not feel comfortable paying an extra $385 for a title that was already paid for at the time of buying the vehicle. And the car lot doesn't have the title for a vehicle they had purchased.

We went for a test drive for a 2015 ********** Jetta, the price listed on website www.cargurus.com the cost was $9,500. We took the car for a drive and we liked it. We had $2,000.00 cash as a down payment. We had spoken with the saleman stating that we were waiting for a claim from our insurance company due to our previous car getting totaled out, and we figured that would be pretty close after ************* and such, since we were expecting a payout around $7,600.00. The car had a crack in the windshield, a warning light on the display, and the drivers rear door would not open from the inside with the child lock turned off. They stated the would go down in price to $9,300.00. That was fine with us. The finance manager ***** went through all of the paperwork so quick and was just saying "sign here, sign here, initial here..." I went to my insurance's app and added the Jetta to our insurance and forwarded to him asking to print out so we have paper copy. He handed me an envelope of papers, and we drove home. I opened the envelope when we got a letter from the loan company stating that our loan was for $12,099.93, not the $7,000.00 we were estimating. I go into the envelope and there are no papers with anything I signed. I reached out to the dealership after 5 phone calls, and 6 emails I finally received a copy of the paperwork I signed. Come to find out there was a warranty added that was never mentioned for $3896.00. The paperwork in the envelope was the terms and conditions for the warranty that state can be cancelled and refunded in 60 days from date of purchase. I have called and emailed multiple times requesting cancellation, no repsonse. I called the CareGuard with who the warranty is through, they are unable to cancel. They have called an emailed the dealership as well, no response. It is now past the 60 days, luckily I have proof of requesting cancellation, so CareGuard is still working with me.
