    I have been living in an apartment since June 2022, but Core Redevelopment bought out my apartment building back in January 2024 and life there has gone downhill ever since. They refused to fix my hardwood kitchen floors that were ruined by a leaking dishwasher, offering me non-comparable apartments to move into permanently with no option to move back into my original apartment. (The apartment they offered to move me into in February is still empty, by the way, and its now November if that tells you anything.) They are entirely unresponsive, so I hope you never need anything. Even when I tried to renew my lease, I had to BEG? I asked for it at the end of May, and it took the whole month of June to get it. They even ran a lease renewal raffle the whole time I was begging for my lease which makes no sense if they were struggling to renew leases. They stopped sending up-to-date monthly utility bills in June. Oh, they sent me ones in July and August, BUT it was literally the same utility bill from May and despite trying to email for the up-to-date ones, never heard anything. ?? They go into your apartment without notice. Its highly expensive, charging for every little thing: parking-$50, lock fee-$10, admin fee-$4, trash fee-$5, etc, on top of rent-$1,300. They bought up a lot of older historic buildings around ************ to slap giant ugly signs on the buildings with QR codes and lets not even talk about the tacky advertising signs they let sit in the yard for MONTHS. Dont buy up a bunch of properties if you cant manage them properly and respond to your tenants.

    This company recently purchased the building Ive lived in for a few years. They have tried adding on new fees which would break my lease agreement with the previous owners. Their maintenance tech slammed their company vehicle door into mine while I was sitting in my car. It took days calling and leaving voicemails before they responded. They then tried to claim it didnt happen, then said the property manager ***** inspected my vehicle in person without my presence/ knowledge as if she is an insurance adjuster. Refusing to provide their companies insurance information. Now they will not respond at all. Everyone in the building is also getting told different fees/ amounts theyre going to have to start paying. The overall professionalism of this company and its staff is dismal at best. Ive never had such an experience with any other rental property owner/ group.
