      I put together a fundraiser to build a playground for the children in the women and childrens shelter here in ***********. *********************** and AAA did an amazing job working with me on budgeting and planning. As well as helping me resource the other things I may need along the way. We can't thank them enough and I hope to one day have the privilege to work with them again on future endeavors!       Children's safety should be a top The installation was scheduled for May *****, 2021. When ****** Healthcare staff inspected the structure on May 24, we quickly realized that the equipment installation was deficient in many regards and even to our laypersons eyes, we could tell that the instructions were not followed as some of the pieces were installed backwards (see list of deficiencies with photos that was prepared on May 24 and shared with the installer). We notified the installer and asked him to return to correct the deficiencies. The installer returned and continued work on May 25-26.Even though the installer spent 5 total days on site installing the equipment, the equipment failed inspection on June 3; the inspector indicated that there was incomplete and unsafe installation of both playground structures. The inspector demonstrated the shoddy work by showing us a safety bar on the highest platform was not even attached he could lift it completely off of the structure. We paid $350 for this initial inspection. The manager of the installation crew returned June **** and had to completely disassemble the smaller structure and reassemble it correctly.He also completed the install of the large climber. The manager offered to complete an inspection report for us, but then admitted that his inspectors license was not current. He also offered to provide the name of a specific inspector that we should use to inspect the structures as,according to him, I know he will pass my work. Even after your manager left, we discovered 3 large bolts that were missing from a platform support, and it took additional phone calls to get your crew to return yet again to install these 3 bolts (photos attached).Because of the installation crews negligence and incompetence, our re-inspection of the equipment did not occur until June 18, 2021, a full month later than expected. The inspector charged us $800 for the re-inspection fee. First and foremost, the original installation was a complete disaster and did not result in a properly assembled structure that lived up to your contractual commitment to provide a service that was safe and expeditious.Second, your manager was very unethical and demonstrated a complete disregard for the safety children in our care when he first offered to inspect the equipment himself on an expired license, and then offered to connect us with an inspector who he knew would pass his work.Third, the equipment sat unused for a month, which is a long time for children, especially in a cold environment like ************* where the outdoor play season is short.Finally, we incurred extra inspection fees through absolutely no fault of our own.!

      AAA State of Play takes the information that ****** has shared very seriously. We as a company have reached out to her to discuss the actions taken by an independent contractor we hired to do her installation. In our discussion, we have agreed to reimburse the customer for the cost of their second inspection and to apologize for the delay in understanding the entirety of their needs. We hope that once the customer receives their reimbursement, they will take the time to update/amend the review to acknowledge our desire to make sure they did not feel taken advantage of.

      Would like to add to my review that they did refund me the cost of the 2nd inspection, however did not send the check to the mailing address and it was missing for several weeks. We are part of a large health care system. Had they SIMPLY asked/confirmed my mailing address it would have been seamless and not taken my time to hunt down a check . Communication is not a strong suit of this company.
