  I used ********* for the first time two years ago to buy my car from a seller over **** miles away. It all went very smoothly. There was a disagreement about the condition of the tires when the car arrived. ********* immediately negotiated a solution that both myself and the seller were happy with. I recently sold the same car using the web site. No issue at all. It was just as easy being a seller as it was being a buyer.. I had one question and the ********* response time to answer was fast. Real people answer the phone and respond to email.

  Great service with real people to talk to. Bought a Lexus from a stranger **** miles away using this site. Had no problems at all. They answered all my questions quickly. I'll use them again

  ********* is taking their cut even if a transaction does not occur! Seller pays if transaction goes through, buyer pays if transaction falls through. They take near 13% of whatever money is sent to them. You can't ***** this from their rudimentary terms and fees page, until you are hit with the fees. Then upon re-reading, it appears they enact the transaction fee toward the buyer. I was skeptical since their whole site looks like it was made by a high school kid. I was right. Rip off! Steer clear! The whole concept of such a business is to protect buyers and sellers, but they prey off such people. My seller found a different buyer, but I am left paying a backout fee......screwed. Bad business. I never would have sent them money if I knew it was not returnable. They still have 28K of my money and my guess is it will take some time to get it back.

  Our fees are clearly stated on our web site. The "In and Out" fee referred to in this comment is the transaction fee charged when a member deposits funds into their account and then withdraws them without using the site for its intended purpose of transaction protection. The comment is totally  incorrect regarding the percentage we charge. The fee charge in this case was 1.3 %; not 13% as stated in the comment. It is unfortunate that the user did not read our fee schedule which is in large type and available from both our public web site before joining our service and our member web site.

  The party making the comment chose to have paper checks mailed to him instead of receiving his funds electronically. Check requests are processed the first business day after the request. The checks are sent by **** mail. The time to receive the funds back is a function of mail service.
