              On April 13, we hired BJH Contracting, dba Fancy Decks, to install an under deck ceiling. On June 2, the owner, ******************* and 3 others, began putting the ceiling up despite a steady rain.On June 16, gutters were to be hung but the installer refused to do so noting the ceiling panels are not screwed to both sides of the main rails which are misaligned. This has caused the ceiling panels to bow and warp. Snow and ice accumulation from the deck above could cause the panels to further twist and ultimately collapse under the load. We called ************ on June 16 to discuss. Since then, 7 requests have been made asking when he will resolve these problems by properly finishing the job. ************ won't provide a date when he'll look at the ceiling saying he can't be available until September. We are left with a wall of water flooding the lower level when it rains, gutters that can't be installed until the safety issues are resolved, and no assurance ************ will address them.
