    I am disgusted with the service that Wheaton provided my family. They lost some of our things and the lady that completed the trace (to locate our things) didn't even apologize for the negligence of the company she works for. They lost large items where there is no explanation (in my thinking) of how they could lose large-sized items. Wheaton movers ripped apart an antique in the process of shipping it that is over 120 years old and then lost a piece of it and I'm just sick about that loss. That antique made it from ***** without being destroyed, but Wheaton destroyed it and lost the antique mirror. Our misadventure with Wheaton started when they didn't make the pickup date and we had to negotiate with the new buyers of our home to stay in the home longer than we expected. Then, they couldn't fit everything on the truck due to not estimating the correct volume, then, the rest of our shipment that didn't fit on the truck came to us in 2 shipments with large-scale pieces missing. The way they treated the items that did make it to us, the way they loaded them on the truck, the way they carried the items, etc... made it evident that they were not a quality moving company. I saw a lot of terrible complaints about Wheaton, but I thought that since I had engaged ******************** company (because they were recommended by AAA) to interface with Wheaton that I wouldn't have these kinds of problems, but I was sorely wrong. Wheaton is a menace and they disgust me as a company. Normally I try to be professional in things I post online, but because Wheaton -- in my opinion -- is a disgraceful moving company, I am letting my true, unfiltered feelings show in this review. As of August 6, I have reached out to the individual that concluded the trace of our missing items (couldn't be found) and I have asked that a Wheaton manager get back to me to explain how Wheaton could lose such large items (in addition to boxes)? Did someone throw them away?
