    IU Health switched their employee insurance coverage to Elevance Health ******************* in 2025 and the coverage is terrible. After reading about Elevance's history, I'm surprised that IU health would even switch to such a company with a scandalous past. We did not start receiving ***'s until April for services that occurred in the first of the month. Our insurance cards did not get to us until after the 1st of the year. People are complaining on our company posting board that providers who were initially seen as within network are being charged as out of network. We might as well not have any insurance, as this is such a mess. I got a bill for $165 for an in network PCP visit that was an initial wellness visit. I don't understand how the largest health network in ******* can treat their employees to such terrible insurance. I mean, ****** ******, the President and CEO of ** Health, received a total compensation of $4.742 million in 2021. Why not take some of his salary and apply that to fair wages and improved health coverage? We all know the cost of living in ************ doesn't equate to the wages they pay in ************ and now you add the cost of health insurance and we are basically in a deficit.
