    I chose them they had the least expensive quote. I gave them a deposit since we needed to wait until the inspection on our roof was complete before we started the Gutter project. I wanted to be proactive so I could get gutters on after everything we went through with the hurricane. At the end of the roof completion I had confused telephone numbers and texted the wrong Gutter person that I was complete with the roof and we are ready to move forward with the gutters . Little did I know I was texting the wrong Gutter place. That guy did not question anything he just said we will be here at this date and will put your gutters on. I got them done. They were beautifully done. I wrote him a check for the other half of the gutters thinking I was Paying brothers gutters .. when in fact, I was not. I take full responsibility over the mistake. I then paid the full amount to the other gentleman..I tried to call Brothers Gutter to get my deposit back since they did no work on my house and they told me too bad that the deposit is gone and wont give it to me back. This situation was an honest mistake.. I think it's very bad business to treat me the way that they did and take my money with no work being done.. I did not have any type of special order. I just had regular gutters. They are a gutter place and they'll be able to use those gutters on any other house. And if they couldnt i suggested if i could get what i paid for then.. they said no. I along with many other people struggled to get a little bit of money from insurance to get my roof done and to put gutters on. I have very little left over that I won't be able to finish what I needed to do because of them. I think it's bad ethics.. im born and raised here in ***************. I have learned that you don't burn bridges. Even though we have grown in southwest fla we are still a small town and people talk. And you can bet I will be talking about this to all of my clients since I'm also a small business owner..
