            We purchased new garage doors from Skips Garage Doors last July, 2021. Skip had us pay in full as we received a discount for doing so. We paid him $8,000 upfront for 4 doors. As we were standing with him in person he made a phone call to his distributor and told us our doors would be in within 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks passed, we began reaching out for updates. Each time we've asked for an update, Skip has claimed that doors are just taking a long time and has no timeframe to give us. We have recently been getting suspicious and checking into his story. We called Pro Doors directly (the door manufacturer), and they said the doors we ordered have a 12 week lead time. We have been waiting 28 weeks and Skip will not provide us with confirmation from Pro Doors that our doors were ever ordered. We tried to dispute the claim with Chase and they denied our dispute since it has been passed 120 days.

            Skips Garage Doors stole 8k from our family. Never recieved our four new garage doors. Ordered last July 2021 and Skip has now gone *** as we are pressing for confirmation that our doors were ever ordered. We were promised initially wed get the doors within 3-4 weeks now here we are pushing 7 months. So disappointing.
