    On July 11th I informed the landlord that our ** was not working. After four days of being in a heat wave I called and spoke to ***** who was very unprofessional and she eventually said that 20 other units broke down and they had no idea when it would get fixed. Two days later we went in the office to talk to them which they sent maintenance to fix **The ** worked for a couple days and it went out again. On July 18th I called to inform them and they said they would create a new ticket and would get someone to come look at the unit. Today August 5th I went to go pay my rent and I noticed I was charged a pletchers fee and in the notes it says came to fix ac but there were no issuesTo this day the ** is still not working and no one has even attempted to contact me to get this issue resolved.

    I am a tenant of 5 star property managers in elkhart/goshen IN. I have had to make numerous calls for unfixed repairs. The most dangerous being no heat on four occassions this winter!! I had been knowingly left without heat on at least two of these occasions. I have asked for some help regarding my large heating bill during this time as the thermostat was not working and causing the blower to constantly kick on. 5-star would not even consider listening to my request and lied about the incident. This does not take into account my extreme inconvience as my house was at 53 degree for over 36 hours. I am trying to leave on decent terms, but afraid they will also take my entire security deposit. I have attempted to speak with them regarding this information, but they refuse to give me a managers information to speak with. It is a constant pushing me off to another worker. I have documentation of the dates and occasions without heat totaling 5 days !
