1 starWhen I was 18 years old, I went out and decided to be a big boy and get my own car payment. I was tired of driving s*** beaters. Superior Auto called me for 2 straight months wanting to put me in a car. I went there and spoke with the general manager that was rude and nasty the entire time. Didnt give me a chance to read any of the information on the contract and then just shoved me out the door after it was done. I had purchased a 2016 **** Focus SE (this was the only vehicle she said I was eligible for) which turned out to be the worst mistake ever. (BTW, Superior Auto DOES NOT GIVE YOU CARFAX ON VEHICLES!!! You have to go and purchase it on your own before you buy the car) I ended up finding that it had been in 2 previous accidents, had rust ALL OVER the rear subframe of the vehicle, Has 2 BENT wheels, the TRANSMISSION is completely toast and I will be replacing it soon, My bluetooth randomly quit working, and so much more. I cant get out of the vehicle because I have SO MUCH negative equity. I have more than the average american on this car. I have 2 other friends that bought from there too, and they all say the same thing. And before the automated robot comes on here and says that im not a superior auto consumer they can go f*** themselves. So please, for what its worth, listen to me and everyone else on this website, and STAY AWAY FROM SUPERIOR AUTO!!!!Review fromLee L

1 starThe 24 month/24000 mile warranty is a total scam. Its actually a $4850 warranty and thats the max they will pay. I bought a 2018 Dodge Journey from them end of March 2025 and end of May 2025 the oil pump went out. I called the warranty company and spoke with them and they assured me it would all be covered. Took it to the shop on Monday and they found chunks of metal in the oil filter and oil pan which means it had been having problems long before I bought it. So it needed a new engine. Shop calls a couple days later says the warranty company told them they are only paying $4850 of the almost $8000 bill. So I called the warranty company and was told "it's not a 24 month/24000 mile warranty. We only cover maximum $5000 minus the $150 deductible over the time frame." So they are lieing about the warranty and what it covers. Thats called fraud. They are knowingly selling vehicles that are garbage to unsuspecting customers which is morally wrong. They have you signing paperwork you don't get to see while they "read you the highlights" off on their computer. So many deceptive business practices its a wonder why theres not been a class action lawsuit against them yet.Review fromKristie E

1 starI am a current customer with ********************** in which I've been happy with. I thought *** and ****** in the ****** IN location were genuine, good people. This past Monday I called to make a payment. ( 3 days late). I told them I was in the hospital for a few days. I proceeded to get my debit card to make the payment. I realized my son had the card at the store so I told them I'd give them a call back as soon as my son returned. I never hung up the phone and neither did ***. He started yelling into another office where ****** was. He proceeded to tell her about his and I's phone conversation and then he told her that he thought I was full of s*** That I was lying. She agreed. They then proceeded to talk about another customer. They said his full name and how much he made per hour and how they are "Over our Shit". So this is how their paying customers are treated behind their backs. I'm considering giving the vehicle back to them and walking away from the toxicity they exude in that place.Review fromDee P

1 starWhere should I begin! I had to get a car quickly because this was my only option and I have cancer and have to have cancer transportation to my appointments so I purchased a vehicle from this JOKE of a place and have regretted ever since!!! The sales lady was so nice when selling the vehicle to me but boy oh boy dont you dare be a second late on your payment or they are calling you and your references and harassing them for the payment and saying they can come repo the car! I have my payment setup on auto pay and I still get calls reminding me to pay!! The car is a 2015 ****** POS it has a horrible rattling sound, and jerks when going into gear like the transmission is going to go out and not to mention that it smells like something died in it and I cannot get the smell out! Dont get me started on the fact that the car only bluebooks for 9k and they sold it to me for 20k, Oh yeah forgot to mention Im a single mom with 2 kids at home still in school and 2 in the military serving and Im on disability. Its a shame these people take advantage of others that just need some help.Review fromLaura M

1 starI bought a vehicle from. Superior auto in September of 2024. We believed in our sales representative at the ********** location. We have had nothing but issues since we purchased our Buick Enclave 2015. We had it in the machinic shop January 2025 to fix various issues including control arms suspension struts the air bag system (started showing issues two weeks after purchasing) and other issues. Further more, the warranty company would not cover all costs and we are on the hook for $1200. Superior auto described a program we could go through that they offer which would add this $1200 to our loan and pay off the remaining balance to the mechanic. We have submitted the requested documents to have this done and now we are in April and Superior Auto still hasn't sent payment. They have ran our credit again, won't answer our questions as to why this is taking so long but still we pay each week. Yesterday I was driving my kids home from school and three different lights came on indicating the all wheel drive system was malfunctioning traction control was off and the stabili trak needed service subsequently as we were on the highway frighting sputters started happening.September of 2024 we have had to replace the battery (the day after purchase) replace the tires out of our pocket, have the vehicle in the mechanics for two weeks responsible for $1200 which all cost should have been covered but for $150, have had the airbag system serviced multiple times and now in the very beginning of April 2025, 7 months after purchase our vehicle is again inoperable. This was supposed to be our family vehicle driving my kids to school going grocery shopping and various other in town family activities and I am afraid to get in it not knowing what's going to happen next or thinking we will be stranded on a simple outing. We've asked to speak to their corporate office and are refused the contact information. I do not recommend buying a vehicle from Superior auto we trusted them.Review fromKedrick S

1 starI went here to get my life turned around I had no way of getting around at the time. I had a decent job butttt I had no work history as in I hadnt been there long enough. I also didnt have a down payment. So I went here because I had to I would just say whatever you do dont go there. At all costs ride a bike first seriously. Theyre charging me over MSRP on an 8 year old car with ******* miles. And Im literally paying more than you would to the Manufacturer. I could understand maybe $16,000 loan or so. Nope its not even that if I were you Id take my money and run. They wont even help you around it if say you get your life in order and the cars killing you and its still in good shape nope theyll just send collections after you and garnish your wages even if the car BLOWS UP 2 days after buying it. I bet theyd charge you if it blew up 10 seconds after signing the papers.
