    We had some issues with chipmunks a few months back. I called Bamboo Servicing to inquire about having them come out to resolve this for us. The rep was nice and explained to me that the only way to have someone come out is if we sign up for their ongoing service. I informed them that I am selling my home in a couple months and wont need their service the whole time. She politely told be that it is totally fine and that I can go on their website and cancel the service with no penalty at anytime. That time had come and I looked everywhere for a place to cancel this week to no avail. I was charged again and I sent a respectful email, explaining that we no longer need the service now as we sold the home. I was told that I signed a 12 month agreement and I will be charged a fee to cancel. I explained the conversation that I had with their rep on the phone prior to me deciding to use their service. She completely ignored that and just coldly responded that she would be happy to provide me with a copy of the contract. We have now gone back and forth via email where I am repeatedly explaining that I spoke to someone that assured me there would be no penalty and each of her responses do not even acknowledge my phone conversation and repeat that I signed a contract .

    In early November of 2022 I asked Bamboo if they would be able to remove the mice that had invaded the interior of our home and then provide mitigation to prevent the rodents from reentering our home. Bamboo said they would. The first visit was to place a bait trap outside our home. I was told this approach would draw the mice out of our home and they would die outside. In late November we still saw mice in our home. I made another call for a visit, which they did, and another bait box was placed outside. We continued to see mice inside our home but thought we would give the bait boxes more time to work. In early February, with mice still roaming inside our home, I called for another follow up visit. This time I asked if they would perform some tasks to prevent the mice from entering our home, per the original agreement. Bamboo dropped off another bait box and left. When I immediately contacted them and asked if they had plugged up any small holes I was told by the rep: "I also looked for entryways to seal, didn't see any that I was aware of." Personally, I didn't find that to be a good response for someone who should know how mice can enter a house, as even I could see areas of entry. I asked for him to return so I could point out some entry points or if I needed to contact their office to reschedule.....no response. I contacted Bamboo's office and they rescheduled for about a week later. That date came and went......no one showed, no one called. I contacted their office again (they graciously apologized), rescheduled again for about another week later......same result, no show no call.Obviously, I can't work with a business that can't follow through with their customer. We have paid over $400 to this point with nothing to show.....except mice. I told Bamboo I would be expecting a $200 refund for an incomplete job.....giving them some credit for their trips. To date we have not received a refund.Definitely not a company I would recommend.

    Our owner has personally reached out to address this complaint, and all parties are satisfied with the outcome reached to resolve the issues mentioned within the complaint. Our highest priority is the satisfaction of our customers, and we are greatly impacted by the experience of this former customer. This former was issued a full refund, and we chose to remove his cancellation fee. We do our best to address all customer concerns as they are brought to our attention, and the complaint filed by this former customer will allow us more insight into the services provided and how these types of issues are addressed in the future.
