On 9/28/22 the United States of America - Northern District of Indiana filed Case 1:2022cr00052 against Robert Elsten, owner of Global Paving, LLC. Elsten was charged with 26:7206(1) False statements on IRS Form 1040 and Forfeiture. The court alleges that while operating Global Paving LLC, Mr. Elsten purposely under reported his total income and net profits on his 2016-2018 taxes. Mr. Elsten is also subject to forfeiture if convicted.The matter is pending.
