My son scheduled an appt to discuss recent labs and the ** Provider never discussed the labs at appt. A copay was collected and his needs were not met or addressed as scheduled. I reached out to the patient advocate department and the clinical team and have yet to receive a response regarding results or refund of charge collected. When I called in this evening, I was told to wait an additional 2 days for a response from the provider. I was anticipating concerns to be addressed today since this was the appt and money was collected.

Good morning this office was contacted by the patient's mother yesterday 7/15, and we currently have her grievance under review with the leadership team. This office will follow up with the Patient and BBB on the outcome once it has been completed.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have not yet been contacted by Parkview Hospital regarding my complaint on being charged and not addressing the specific reason for the appointment.  The patient did not have an appropriate visit to discuss lab results with his primary care provider.  His cost was collected and insurance processed.

Good morning, the *********************** has sent the follow up letter addressing the concerns to the patient on July 18, 2025. Please contact our office directly at ************ if you have any further questions or concerns. Sincerely, the Parkview ***********************.

I am rejecting this response because:
Correspondence from Parkview included numerous false claims.  I visited my primary care provider on 5/12/25, for an annual physical,  labs were ordered;  Labs drawn and completed by ** health on 6/27/25;  On 7/7/25, I sent a msg via MyChart asking Parkview to obtain the lab results from IU and was promptly asked to stop by the office to sign a ROI form;  7/9/25, I signed a release form at Parkview's office on ******************, provided the front desk with my personal printed copy of rslts and asked for a F/U visit to discuss which was scheduled at the desk.  I returned home and then requested thru my chart to be on a cancellation list to get in sooner;  7/11/25, I received a message from Parkview through ******* that they had not received my ROI consent form even though I was in their office two days prior;  July 15th I visited Parkview for my appt that was specifically to discuss my lab work, I was met with staff who stated I'm the messenger, we need you to sign another release form because we don't have your labs, therefore there was no discussion about my labs and they required me to sign a second release of information consent form during the visit.  Further, they conducted a focus exam **** wt, oxygen, etc) which I had just completed months prior during my initial annual visit. I did not ask for a reassessment for depression or anxiety and was not made aware that that would be part of the visit either.  My expectation was that I could communicate specifically with my provider about what I requested an appt for as I signed a release form twice for my lab results because Parkview seems to have lost the original documents signed and the document I presented with and left.  I am deeply troubled that Parkview has chosen to misrepresent, on various dates, the timeline of events and the fact that I was not able to participate and ask appropriate questions regarding my care in office.
