I wouldnt trust Sweet Aviation based on who they hire. They hired a pilot I used to work with. That pilot has been grounded and investigated by the ***. He should not be flying. Our previous employer wanted him gone and couldnt wait until he left. Why Sweet would hire this pilot is beyond me. Maybe they like nut cases!I cant fly with Sweet knowing this, as this makes me question their hiring practices. What other kinds of crazies there?I work in aviation too and have knowledge of the requirements. Please for the love of all things holy STAY AWAY FROM SWEET!!

I have no interest in utilizing any of Sweet Aviation's services or products as I do not believe it is an honest and trustworthy business. It may be a flight school, but it's true purpose is as an assembly line for aviation science college grads to collect enough "Certified Flight Instructor" hours to become commercial pilots, presented as the hobbyist's route to a civil license. My wife was dishonestly sold a ground school package as a tactic to push the vastly more expensive flight lessons back when COVID restrictions were first being lifted. She was most certainly not fully educated on the package she had purchased and what it included before leaving and presenting it as a gift. When I attempted to rectify the error, I was denied a refund, and offered a flier that explained alternative methods for paying for the actual flight lessons. One of those methods was US military GI BIll benefits. That too was a lie, as I possess those benefits and when I tried to use them I was told that no, they in fact were not a viable option.I called them out publicly in an online review for false advertising and a half-assed "ground school" program that wasted **** hours of my time. During this, I had also noticed they appeared to be poorly run administratively as I had one appointments mis-scheduled and another forgotten completely. When I was contacted by General Manager, I explained all this to him at that time, and secured my refund, and an explanation that GI Bill benefits were in the works but not yet approved, but they thought it had been, which is why it was on their advertising. An explanation so poor it baffles and infuriates me. So either they're so poorly managed they a) don't know their own business, or b) they did it carelessly with no concern for the consequences of falsely advertising that which they cannot offer. Either way, I would choose not to do business with a company run in either fashion.
