They claimed they are the flight company representative on phone but they are actually not. I found out their phone number by google “EVA Air flight ticket cancellation ” and called them to seek help from EVA air. The representative said she is EVA Air but actually she is from the third party. Then she asked all my information (credit card, address, etc.) to pay the transaction fee but what she did is to use my credit card for $200 for the service from airlinesticketpolicy. I tried to question and told her to hold on but she said I must finish the transaction on the phone call. I gave out the information under the pressure from the representative.
It’s a scam because they claimed they are from the flight company but they are just a third party.
    1. FYI, they will charge you additional money for their service ($200 in my case), which you can do it on your own completely
    2. If you were asked for your personal information, just hang up the phone and just reach out the flight company.
    3. They will advertise in some websites (medium.com in my case) to mislead you to think the phone number is from the flight company.

They are 100% not affiliated with any airlines. But once you give them your credit card info and ID they just pretend to be you and make the changes on behalf of you. Although you could contact the airlines directly and not pay the fee they will make you pay, they did actually do the work for me so hard to say it is a scam, its just VERY misleading. Just know, they will have your ID and credit card.
