            I had an appt schedule 5/5/22 @3:30. ot was Telehealth meeting so I started the session around 3:32pm. There is a code that has to be entered for the meeting, that was left in a voise message. I could not understand the message so I entered the wrong code. Around 3:37, I listened to the message again and realized I missed the first two characters of the code. I enter the new code, so one comes on and said Andre please wait for the doctor. I waited 45 mins and never did the doctor come, so I hung up. About 3 hours later, I get an invoice for $50 late fee. I call them on 5/6 explaining the situation and Someone called me back and said since I was 5 minutes late, I had to pay the fee. I have been seeing this Dr for close to a year and never have I been late. There have been time when the doctor has ran over 5 minutes late and I never complained. They didn't offer to waive it or anything. Not great service at all

            You are welcome to call the office manager at ext *** to discuss your individual situation.

            Our Policy: All telehealth appointment information is sent by email and by text.

            Both of these types of messages are sent with a hyperlink to utilize, so that there is never a need to chance human error with entering room number codes.

            Any voice messaging would have only been left as a last-ditch effort - after a patient is not logged into their appointment room on time - to attempt to assist the patient to not miss their appointment and to remind them to log in immediately. This message would still have been left before the start of the actual appointment time.

            The doctor will check for patient arrival up to 7 minutes into the appointment and after that time it is considered a missed appointment. This is outlined in our Registration and Consent for Treatment.
