      We pay a hefty sum in rent. The place is poorly maintained. Mowing is done only after complaints. Siding needs power washed. Garages aren’t cleaned and have no gutters. Complaints are met with indifference. Car battery left on property. No rounds being made or trash cleanup. A temporary dumpster has been left permanently. Foul smell and leaking substance from said dumpster. Tanning beds in disrepair. Overall money grab by greedy owners.

      We regret that this complaint was made.  Maintenace and upkeep of the property is always being worked on. 

      Mowing is always a challenge in the spring.  Annually the property is treated with a weed killer and fertilizer.  With spring rain and the fertilizer the grass will grow quickly.  We will always work to maintain the lawn through the year.

      The siding does need power washed and an algaecide applied.  This is a recurring thing and is usually done annually since the algae is worse on certain sides of the buildings and nothing on other sides.  This will be done again this year as we can schedule with contractor.

      The construction dumpster is being used by a contractor that is repairing the stairs throughout the property.  We also are going to begin roofing throughout the property so the container will be used throughout the summer.  We have a construction dumpster at our other properties as we have improvement projects ongoing at each property.  

      Tanning beds have been repaired.  One of the tanning beds, we believe, still needs a replacement board so it can be remotely turned on.  However, it does work at present.  

      We appreciate our residents and will continue to improve our properties.

      I’ve been here over 5 years.   They have NEVER power washed.  Mowing is a challenge only when it is ignored.   The maintenance dumpster is unkept and an eyesore.   Smells horrible to boot.   Their insincere and untrue response is troubling

      We have power washed the buildings in the past as the algae is a recurring issue.  We just power washed a few buildings including the resident's building.  The pressure washer is now being used to prepare the pools then will go back to power washing the buildings.  Spring is always hard to keep the grass and we are trying to hire additional people for the grounds crew.  The construction dumpster has been replaced by Republic with a new one.

      Garages haven’t been touched. Grounds is still a mess.  Have been thanked by multiple residents for finally getting SOMETHING done.   Now the concern turns to retaliation

      Moved into SMC apartments November 2021. No black mold then. Started developing eye, nose, throat, and chest problems around July, 2022. Learned from upstairs neighbor in August, 2022 of extensive black mold problem in building making him sick in exact same way. Then found heavy black mold in my kitchen cabinet. Told local management around mid-August that they "need to send a certified mold mitigation specialist" to mitigate the mold. In a defiant tone, consistent with her intention to send anyone but such a certified mold mitigation specialist, "*****" said the complex would send its "contractor." The next day, two scary-looking and inappropriately dressed men appeared at my door. Without respirator, gloves, eye protection, or whatever, one "contractor" immediately fell to his knees and started digging out rotting wood from the bottom of my kitchen cabinet with his bare hands, stirring up additional spores for me to breathe. Then, they showed me at least six square yards of heavy black mold behind my refrigerator, the cabinet, and the stove. They promised to "paint over" the mold. They made a big mess which they didn't clean up, destroyed my kitchen cabinet and never came back to repair it as promised, and left a dirty and poorly maintained fan blowing 24/7 for weeks. I deemed it a fire hazard, and had to haul it to the trash compactor to dispose of it myself. This is not the way professionals of any kind look, act, or work. MOST IMPORTANT, I REMAIN SICK from the mold spores I am inhaling - at least, I have every reason to think that I remain sick for this reason, because I have no reason to believe that the mold was ever eradicated. In fact, ONE CAN STILL SEE THE MOLD continuing to grow in and in front of what's left of the kitchen cabinet. The "contractors" never returned. "*****" offered to send the same clowns immediately after I called back to complain. Because these men are incompetent and not licensed, bonded, or insured, I don't want them in my apartment.

      The water leak was fixed. Some maintenance still needs to be done if we can have access. We have contacted PACE field services to test.
