      I own a Halmark Trailer with a Dexter axle under it. I looked them up online and found Dexter located at ********************************,. I called their number about 10:30am. and spoke to a man about the parts I needed. they were in stock and they close at 4:30 pm., I changed my schedule so I make it before they closed. I arrived at approximately 4:05 pm. and the gates were closed. I then pulled into the corporate office side of the building and attempted to speak to someone, but the door was locked and there seemed to be no way to speak to a real person. I called their number again and reached a man who stated the manager was in the warehouse and unavailable to speak with me. I asked about not being able to speak to someone on the corporate side and was informed nobody but corporate is allowed in their side. I explained that I had just driven a long distance to get there only to find them closed, the man stated our hours are 8-4 Monday-Friday. I explained to him about the conversation I had earlier today, and that I was told 4:30 was the time they closed. His response was the same - our hours are 8-4 and I would have to come back because they are closed. I asked why I was told something different on the phone and he said if they do not answer their phone it rolls over to another office and that may be their hours but not Azles they are closed. I took off work early, to get there just to go home empty handed because of Dexters business practices. They really just do not care about the end user of their products and I would caution anyone looking to buy a trailer to make sure they do not have Dexter axles under them. If you do purchase a Dexter axle you are then a captured customer and subject to the same treatment I encountered. When you arrive at 4:05 and they will not help you out, even when they are the reason you arrived at that time it speaks volumes! Buyer beware!!!
