    I purchased a cancer policy with this company over 15 years ago and called the company to get a schedule of benefits for the policy since mine was misplaced in my recent relocation. I was told several times by various customer service agents that the schedule was mailed US postal and after 16 days have still NOT received the policy. Furthermore, they went into the system and deleted my SS# and Bday and changed my name around so that when I called for the 4th time, they couldn't even find my policy. There is something NOT right about this company and they need to be investigated. My policy is supposed to have return of premium benefits but now I am believing that I have been scammed for all this time. Who can investigate this company?

    I signed up for a policy before realizing that I was already covered under my AFLAC policy. I called the number provided by the representative who came to my school so I could cancel my policy. He assured me that he canceled my policy. I even received a confirmation text from "Sage" assuring me that my policy was canceled. This was on June 6th. The monthly payment was drafted today. When I called the representative's number to complain, he promised he canceled my policy. I called the 1800 number to speak to someone only to be told that my policy was not canceled, and that it was still active. Now, I have to send a letter via fax to cancel my policy because that is the company's policy for customers to cancel their policies. This information was not given to me by the representative when I called to cancel my policy. I was on the phone for almost 40 minutes trying to get this situation handled. My next call is to my bank to block future payment drafts. The actions by this company and its representatives is very disappointing and unprofessional. They basically lied to me more than once. How sad.

    I have had 3 supplemental policies with Washington National starting with heart/stroke in 2010, then bought a cancer policy in 2012, and later bought an accident policy in 2019. All three were purchased as a teacher, where I met with a **** I now am retiring and want to cancel my policies, as I will no longer need them, but need the extra cash I am putting into the policies. I cannot find a reliable address to send the letters required. Four times I have called customer support, and 4 times I have been given a different address. My current *** will not call me back. I have tried everything to reach someone to talk to, as the customer service number puts me in touch with an over-seas connection. Seems there is no way to get my letters of intent (which WN requires) to a reliable address (even the post office says the ** Boxes do not match the addresses). I need to drop these policies, but have been stonewalled. I would appreciate hearing from a reliable source. Thank you.

    We were under the impression that we had additional coverage when we took out a long term care policy. We moved in 2007 and changed banks but paid our premium through our long term care policy. Unknown to us Washington National Insurance Company canceled our policy August 1, 2007. This is 2 months after we moved and we had already changed banks, as I stated before. They never contacted us. Now when we need to use this part of our coverage, we are informed we no longer have the policy. Of course they take no blame. We thought we had paid for this over 20 years. Wrong!

    Frustrating to deal with this company. When I had open heart surgery, it took SO many calls to get payment. We are now due a return on a premium for one of our policies. We have had times scheduled for them to stop by---NO SHOWED twice! Still waiting for the premium pay out. They have no problem taking their premiums out every month. Really re-evaluating any policies that we currently have with them.

    Dont buy long term policy with them! My mom bought that policy with them in 1999 and paid $271. a month paid the company approximately $81,000 in that time. Her policy clearly states that it would pay up to $100 a day for someone to take care of her at home, I had someone stay with her starting in December, mom was 95 no where did it say they had to be licensed but they dont want to pay for that reason. She was in a licensed nursing facility for a little over 2 weeks and they dont want to pay that either! Then I sent them the death certificate as soon as I got it, sadly she died February 25 this year and now they keep sending letters that shes not paid her bill for March. I talked to a *** 2 weeks ago and she stated they had got certificate and everything they had requested but yet I get another bill today!The day my mom died some of her last words were that nursing home insurance aint worth a s*** is it? And sadly we said no mom it isnt!Save yourself a heartache and dont buy long term care with this company!

    I had my first claim with Washington National, not only was it paid quickly to me the representative was very helpful. I purchased their accident plan and life insurance through my company. I'm not sure why there is so many comments on here stating the oppsite but I can say my experience was great! I am very thankful that I did purchase from them because aflac was never this quick.

    I lost my Mom Jan *******, and she had an annunity with you and I have sent you all required forms, and its now been over a month and half. I have been told that check was printed the March 17th and then provided 3 dates it was mail (17, 18, and 19). As of today still no check. If we place a stop payment we have to wait for the stop payment to be recorded 48 hours, and then reissues another check an maybe get in 10 days. They refuse to placxe overnight unless I am will to pay for it and also don't do wires. Very concerned they even sent the check and really have the money, or even sent the check. I have talked to our lawyer and will wait 1 day and then the lawyer and I will make another call. This is so hurtful that a company would operate this way, when a person is dealing with the lost of a love one. They even took taxes out which I never provided approval

    I tore my rotator cuff in august..originally it was diagnosed as a dislocated shoulder, but told me to come back if it was still bothering me..went back in November, had an mri, I found out it was my rotator cuff..now they deny my claim because it was outside the scope of 90 days from the incident..I have not had one good experience with this company in filing a claim..would definitely not recommend this company to anyone..they denied my one claim because I put **** on it instead of *******, even though a *** told me it wouldnt matter..they just want your money..just a horrible experience with this company any time I needed them..they only care about getting your money
