On July 16, 2025, I contracted Global Epoxy Plus (represented by Shane K******) for epoxy coating on my two garages at **** and **** ********* ***** *********** ** *****, for $6,870 (50% deposit paid; $3,435 balance owed). Work was completed August 12–13, 2025. The epoxy was satisfactory (still some unresolved fixes needed), but their team left a film/residue scattered and stuck all over my adjacent driveway pavers, damaging a $100,000 driveway cleaned just prior.

I notified them immediately (texts/photos from August 13), and they promised cleanup (e.g., Shane: "Yes everything will be taken care of"; Trent: "we most definitely want to get this corrected"). Despite follow-ups, it persisted through rain, their initial pressure washing (August 20), my cleaning, and a $300 professional power wash by ************ (August 22; receipt attached). Photos show it’s fixed/stuck, not dust as they claimed—Trent admitted on August 20 their team had "never" worked on pavers, indicating inexperience. Trent's 24-minute personal attempt (Sept 18) failed.

On August 23, I sent a demand letter (attached; certified mail delivered August 29) requesting: (1) they repair at no cost, (2) offset $300+ against balance, or (3) provide insurance details (contract confirms general liability coverage). Trent promised in-house cleaning during a ********** job (text August 29), but despite requests for dates (texts Sept 8–25), no effective action followed (24 minute visit on 9/18/25 did nothing). Deadline was Sept 8; no response since Sept 19.

Attached is a $4,800 quote (Sept 23) from ****** ********* for restoration (remove damaged bricks, add ***** ****, seal). Withholding $3,435 balance as offset until resolved. They owe me the difference between what it will cost me to fix their mess ($4,800) and what I still owe them ($3,435), or $1,365.

I hope this email finds you well. I'm writing to provide an update on my complaint (ID********) against Global Epoxy Plus regarding the
epoxy residue damage to my driveway pavers from their August 12–13, 2025 work.
On September 26, 2025, shortly after filing, Trent S****** (owner) attempted to call me and texted, "****, please give me a call when you
can." I responded preferring written communication for clarity and asked how he wanted to settle at no cost to me. He replied on September
19 (prior to filing) that he was working with insurance and starting a claim, sending them the PDF I provided about the "dust." I followed up on
September 29 requesting carrier name, policy number, and claim number, but have heard nothing since.
Attached is a $4,800 quote from ****** ********* (dated September 23, 2025) for full restoration (remove all damaged bricks, add *****
****, seal; materials, labor, equipment, and tax included). This confirms the extent of the damage, as new pavers won't match the originals.
I remain committed to an amicable resolution and am only asking for the difference between the restoration cost ($4,800) and my balance
($3,435), or $1,365 reimbursement, with the balance offsetting the rest. Please let me know if BBB needs additional information.
    Thank you for your assistance.
    Best regards,
