    If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I hired them for my mom with dementia. Her caregiver was great and then on a Thursday didn't show up and wouldn't pick up calls from my mom and wouldn't respond to my text message until that evening when she told me she had a sinus infection and that Crossroads left a message for my mom. My mom was very upset at that point because she didn't know why her caregiver didn't show and take her to an important appointment (my mom actually needs heart surgery). I emailed Crossroads that evening and stated what happened asked why I was not notified and asked if someone would be there on Friday. The next morning they responded and said they tried to call my mom but couldn't leave a message (apparently that was good enough so my mom nor I were told that her caregiver was "sick"). They also said they did not have anyone for my mom that day. On Monday, another caregiver showed up and helped my mom and that afternoon I received a call telling me that her caregiver would not be there all week and no one else was available. I asked if her caregiver was quitting and they said no but gave me names of other providers if I needed help that week. On Friday morning I emailed them and was asking them to confirm that her caregiver would be there Monday. By 1:28 pm I had not heard anything so I called. I was told then that they just emailed me (turns out the email was stamped at 1:28 pm also). Their email to me was the following:"So unfortunately caregiver will not be returning. We currently dont have any available staff for mom, as the schooling has started". This is literally the entire message. There was no I'm sorry or anything else. Just this sentence.I was furious, asked for the manager and asked that they give me a two week notice and they said "sorry we don't have available staff."I cannot believe any company would treat their client with dementia this way. Don't believe what they say about caring for their clients.
