    On January 9th of 2024 I delivered my 2018 grand caravan to *************** because something was wrong in the motor bay. Once they looked at it they told me it was the oil cooler. I was not worried, I had gotten a warranty through *************** called sky auto protection. The oil cooler was covered under this warranty so I gave them the go ahead to fix it. After 6 days my van was fixed. The problem begins when *************** failed to contact the warranty company. I got in touch with them after a brief hold today to cancel the warranty since I had paid 2000 dollars into it and had felt cheated. Tom wood honda has a sign that says they will pay for this warranty but when you call to activate it they charge you. So I paid for this warranty, and then the dealership wouldn't call them and make the claim. They just changed the subject and made me pay 2392$ to get my van back from them. The oil cooler that needed changed, was 959$ after labor. As instructed by the warranty company's book. I gave *************** the book to make a copy. In the book it states that the oil cooler was covered. I'd like the money back from the oil cooler and I'd like *************** to take down the signs about paying for your warranty. They in fact, do not.

    Tom Wood Honda service department is a joke! I purchased a car that I thought would be a great fit for me since the car I was trading in was starting to have issues and I did not want to deal with those issues. The car I purchased had problems within the first week and has been taken into the service department for the same issue 4 times and I thought the issue was finally fixed. It was not! I had to take the car in for a recall and at that time the car was starting to have some of the same problems again. The recall was similar to what problems we were already having. We were told we needed new tires also because the tires had uneven wear, due to the recall and the issues that the car had been in the shop for already, which again, was happening when we purchased the car. Funny though when the car was there just two weeks before for an oil change and tire rotation, the tire issues were never mentioned until we took it in for a recall. They ended up charging us $234 when it was a recall issue. This was after the almost $1200 toltal we were give to put the new tires on as well. They said I signed to approve the charges. I signed because above the signatures line it read,PREAPPROVED. To me, this meant the service was being paid by Honda, since the recall was in the mix as well. I contacted Honda Corporation and they did nothing either. The head over Tom Wood Honda service ***** *****, was only concerned about getting his guys paid, as he told me that was what I was paying for. His guys had to get paid somehow. I told him that was bull and he told me that was the way it works. So now I am stuck with this car that has been in the shop 5 times, adding up to close to a month altogether without the car and now also out of warranty, I would not recommend the *************** ********** in ******** to anyone. The salesman we went to was wonderful and helpful, just take the car elsewhere to be worked on. You will not be happy with the service **** at Tom wood Honda in And.
