      Urgent Complaint Against Avion Rewards and Emirates Failure to Address Name Correction and Ticket Cancellation Issues Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to lodge a formal complaint regarding an unresolved issue I have faced with Avion Rewards and Emirates, which has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the matter directly with both companies, I have encountered a series of miscommunications and failures to deliver adequate service.Background of the Issue:On Dec 8th 2024, I booked a flight from ******** to ********* through the Avion Rewards program. During the booking process, I mistakenly made a typo error in one of the character in the name on ticket. I immediately reached out to Avions customer service to request a correction, and was told that the issue would be addressed in collaboration with ********, as the flight was operated by them.However, since then, both Avion Rewards and Emirates have failed to resolve the problem. I have been passed between departments, with neither company taking responsibility for correcting the name typo or clarifying the next ******** make matters worse, despite my request to correct the typo, Avion Rewards has unilaterally canceled my husbands ticket, while leaving my ticket as it is. This action was taken without proper communication or justification, and I was not informed of the cancellation beforehand. We are now left with only 2 days away of our departure, while both companies continue to shift blame onto each other.This ordeal has not only caused significant emotional and financial distress but has also highlighted a ******************** and accountability between Avion Rewards and ********, two companies that are supposedly committed to customer satisfaction.

      I am a *** customer and hold an ********************** *** Visa card. This card accumulates points to be used on travel or purchases. In April of 2023 I booked flights for my husband and I using my points to travel to ****** from ******* ********. Trip was from October 21 until November 1 ****. In *** **** I contact Avion and extended our trip til November 6 ****. In July I was contacted by Avion to change my flights due to a change in schedule that would prevent us from meeting connecting flight. In august I changed our flight home from Maui to Kauai due to fires. Also in august I was in hospital for 4 days I was in renal failure. I found out in September that my medical travel insurance would not cover my kidneys since I was in hospital with 60 days of travel. I contacted Avion and was told I would get a credit through ******** airlines for **** ** funds for each of us. This credit was to be used by august 24 **** On October 6 **** I attempted to rebook trip for *** of ****. After over an hour and half on phone I was told the credit was only good until *** 8 ****. **** had to be concluded by then. I was put on hold again. While on hold husband I worked on new dates to travel. Once the agent back on line I was told travel had to be concluded by April 2 ****. I was told an investigation would be done in regards to who made this mistake I was told I would be contacted within 7 working days. Later that day we changed our plans again. I contacted Avion back trying to book flights from February 21- March 8. Again I was the phone for 2 1/2 hours. The agent could not get a price for the flight. He told me hed call me back following day. He called me back next day. He said he contacted ******** airlines and could not get a price and call was then disconnected. He said he would try again at beginning of week. Should they not have to honour the august ****? I have it in writing. Is there anything I can do?

      I bought ticket with American Airlines through Travelavion. ( Travel was to occur 19 March and 22 March 2020) CAD $818.86 Travel credit was given, but I have been unable to reach customer service by email, Telephone messages not answered. Website inactive?

      I booked a flight with travelavion.com that was canceled due to Covid and I was provided documentation showing a credit of $1585.20 good until April 30, 2023. Over this past week I have attempted to rebook my flight. I have called multiple times and sent multiple emails and have been told to except a call back, which hasnt happened. Today when I called I was told the booking number is invalid, although it is on the documents they sent me. I asked to speak to a manager but was refused. At this point I just want a refund.
