Hired CL Renovations/**** to remove old tile & install new in the master bathroom, includes, floor, surround jacuzzi tub, & the shower. He started the job 1/3/2023. Finished 1/12. All work was done. A couple days after I found that the shower door leaked. It looked as though there was a gap when you closed the shower door, there was a bigger opening at the bottom verses the top. That is where the water was leaking. After going back in forth, he said I needed a new door. He sent me the website *********** of the door, said it was exactly the same door. I ordered it & picked it up when it arrived at 10 days. It was not the same door, it was a rain shower door, which means you can not see through it. I just paid for a beautiful shower, and now you can't see the shower like my original one did. I was very upset, as there is nothing I could do. Tried getting ahold of him, again, nothing. Finally, he said he would come out to install. After he installed it, before he left I said there is still a gap, he said it's minor should it should not be a problem. We could not check to see if if leaked because of the new caulk he put down. He said call me tomorrow & let me know. Well, it leaked. I tried again to get *********** no response. Finally, said that he installed the bottom shower threshold wrong. He asked me to the order number which I gave to him, & again I hear nothing. Finally, now, as I am typing this, he finally responds "Waiting for a quote from ********** about the piece." He said he sent them a message but it failed and he didn't notice it. He said he will get back to me once they let him know. It's been almost 7 weeks & the door is still not fixed. I would like to either hire someone to fix ******* pays for the work, or to get the dates of when it is going to get fixed by. If the door leaks again, he will be obligated to pay someone to fix it.
