I ordered a flour bin from this Cook's Direct and a day after my credit card was charged for the purchase they called me and said they could not ship the ordered product at the price that was quoted on the website ($20). They asked if I wanted to pay 9 times ($180) the quote for shipping and handling and I said no thank you, they said my credit card would be made whole within a few days.Well The next day I went back on their web site and the flour bin now had a shipping and handling cost that was 3 times the original ($60) which seemed ok as their price for the flour bin was that much cheaper than other outfits on line.There reason I am writing is 2 weeks later my credit card still has not been reimbursed for the original purchase and the 3 times I have called to make sure my second purchase was in good standing and to inquire about the original reimbursement I was given the run around, was flat out hung up on and my calls went directly the voice mail. I have left 3 messages with Cook's Direct over the course of 2 weeks never receiving a call back. I understand things are more difficult these days but a simple call back or in the least not hanging up on me would give me more confidence Cook's Direct is a company that can be trusted.
