This warranty company: ****, has not been helpfully and will not fulfil their end of the warranty I bought from them. My car's engine seized on 09/07/22. The claim was filed within the next couple of days. The mechanic (*************: They towed and are currently working on my vehicle) has sent information about my engine, which seized on the interstate and has a disintegrated part. (Which is covered under the warranty to fix the engine) I have called numerous times to try and get **** to fix anything. **** keeps saying i never gave them maintenance records and I have more than once, they also keep saying the mechanic has not sent any information or an estimate on the vehicle. **** has gotten all the info numerous times, i had to get my financial advisor with my credit union who holds my loan to call **** to get anything started. He was able to get a adjustors information: which i was never able to obtain, but they are still reluctant to do anything. I havent had my car for almost 2 months and its almost winter! I need my car!

On 9/6/22, we brought our Winnebago into Lazydays because we had lost half power on both shore power and generator. It was determined that a control switch had malfunctioned. In our "Silver Level" warranty, it states under Auxiliary Powerplant/ Generator that control switches are covered. However, when the claim was processed and the part number was put in, **** stated that is was a transfer switch and not a control switch. Because the specific verbiage of "transfer switch" on not written in the contract, **** denied the claim costing us $802.73. However, if you look up control switches for generators, the first thing that comes up is a transfer switch. The rep at **** could not give a reasonable explanation as to why the two are not the same. Therefore, I believe this verbiage game is a misrepresentation of the warranty, and I would like this claim accepted and a refund issued for $802.73.

This complaint is regarding a claim being denied. Claim involves a catastrophic engine failure in a 2016 Tiffin Motorhome covered by this company.Agreement number AUM80397412. VIN No. 4UZACWDTOGCHV8799.Warranty is *** *********** Motorhome **verage Options called PLATINUM PLAN. Initial **st was $13,200.I am the second owner as of 3/10/21 and the Warranty was transferred to me on 3/25/21 at a cost of $100.Date of engine failure was June 5, 2022.The coach was towed to Cummins West in ******, **********. **ntact there is Sr. ********** ***********************.The dispute is that the Warranty ** is denying the claim due to what they say is Abuse, Negligence and Neglect. They stated that the customer (me) continued operation with little or no oil pressure damaging the engine beyond repair. Customer is also not in compliance with manufacturers oil change maintenance schedule creating accelerated wear and tear on the lubrication system. Facts are that the coach has 21, 696 miles at the time of breakdown and that the engine has been serviced 5 times. Manufactures recommendation is 12 months OR ****** miles. I am well within that recommendation.Regarding the continued operation I had NO indication of impending failure before the STOP ENGINE light came on.From that point the *** allows 35 seconds, to safely get off the highway, before it shuts off the engine.I am driving a 38' motorhome pulling a 8' utility trailer on a two lane mountain road. It took me an additional 46 seconds to get off the road into a safe spot. The engine did shut off at 35 seconds and I "coasted" these 46 seconds to get safely off the highway. No further damage could have been done after the *** shut off the engine at 35 seconds (from engine stop notification light). According to the repair shop, the engine would had to have another failure that I had no control over and could not hear or see.No money has been paid out yet. Your assistance is appreciated.

I am rejecting this response because:

      Sincerely,

      My Response.

The engine only stalled ONCE.  It could not be driven after it stalled.  The low oil messages are at the time of failure and just before it stalled (per the ECM).
There was no "continued operation" after the engine stalled.
The engine maintenance schedule is in compliance.  The engine has been serviced 5 times and its total mileage is 21,696.
Company HAS all maintenance records since time of Warranty Transfer to me (3/25/21).

Again let me state...From the time the STOP ENGINE LIGHT illuminated to full parking stop was 1 minute 21 seconds
The engine STALLED at 35 seconds.  I coasted to a safe space off the 2 lane highway for an additional 46 seconds. No additional damage could have been done after the engine stalled.
The engine would had to have another failure that I had no control over and could not hear or see (on the dash).

I am an experience driver including many years with a Class I license.
I would not purposely jeopardize my expensive vehicle by ignoring warnings from lights or gauges.

I feel this is an attempt by the company to avoid paying an expensive legitimate claim.
Let's stop the nonsense and pay this claim to avoid formal litigation.

      Thank you.

I bought an extended warranty with a 2016 **** Mustang; the car broke down and was diagnosed as the turbo charger had blown. When I called American guardian they said they do not cover turbo chargers even though this is a art of the engine. On their website I took a screenshot it says the warranty covers turbo charges. The car has now been in disrepair for six months and Im still making payments on it.

My vehicle had a power train issue that was supposed to be covered by their warranty that I received when I purchased my vehicle in 2015. I have been to that my claim was denied because the receipts I sent them were could not be verified. Even tho the engine is clean and you can clearly tell that it has been taken care of.

We bought a 2014 ***** Pilot approximately 5 years ago and when doing so got an extended warranty through American Guardian warranty services. Over the last year we have had issues with certain cylinders, we have taken into *********** and Allignment and had certain things done and replaced up until the point where they said that the engine needed to be replaced. At this time we gave ***** the warranty and they have been in contact with them. This started approximately 6-7 weeks ago. First the warranty company wanted all maintenance records, so I sent them to them from carfax. Then they wanted an estimate to replace the engine, and ***** sent them that. Then they wanted an estimate to just replace the pistons, ***** then sent that, and then they wanted pictures of the rings and when they got those pictures they said they were too small and they couldnt zoom in on them. So that is when ***** told them to send an inspector. So as you can see they have made this an extremely frustrating and difficult experience and then finally just deny the claim with one of their exemptions. This has been going on for 6-7 weeks and now finally they sent an inspector out and they now claim the fault falls under one of their exemptions and are denying the claim. At the very beginning when ***** contacted them and talked to an inspector the inspector said oh yeah this is a common problem for these vehicles so just send an estimate and from there it has been a nightmare. Without our car for a month and a half and now this. The following is the owner of *********** and Allignment:******************* ************** *******************************************************
