State Farm sent me there without me shopping around because my agent was on vacation. I wrecked my car and it should have been totaled. They insisted they can fix it. That was ***** *************** two weeks to a month, which was ok. I got a rental, and State Farm covered 20 something days, then I was on the hook for $25/30 a day after that. Well they couldnt get parts in for my 19 ****** crosstreck. Each week I had to call them to hear about my car. After spending roughly $1500 if not more on the rental and being dragged through the mud, they agreed to let me have my car back incomplete. This was September. Its missing lights and housings for the lights and mirror lights. As well as the seals werent installed properly, unaware I went through a car wash and it poured into the interior like as if the door was cracked open. I called them and State Farm and he said he can possibly Fix the seals next week (which ***** said next week every week since mid June when this all happened) so I was furious because winter was coming. He claimed the specific harnesses were delayed. Fast forward to now, my seals leak, Im missing my fog and mirror lights and housings. Its mid February! I called my State Farm representative and they wont refund me the money I paid for my rental because its on the dealer. She said my claim is done and they already paid the shop the 12k. I would have bought a vehicle if they were upfront about the delay in repairs instead of renting. Theres a lot of people in town that have taken totaled cars they they claim were not totaled and fixed at their expense, hes notorious for doing this. So now since my agent has been calling on my behalf theyve filed a complaint on her because shes calling to much about client vehicles. I just want my car fixed. They have their insurance money and I have a half fixed car, as well as out 1500$. ***** the pirate is the guys local nickname. He would call in warrantys on cars he did total. Please help if you can.
