BBB opened an investigation on October 23, 2025 due to receiving 4 complaints against the business regarding delivery issues. Consumers claim that they ordered auto parts from Precise Auto Salvage which were not delivered. Three complaints have been closed as no response from the business and one complaint is currently in process.
BBB used SmartyStreets.com to verify company address, 3661 Terminal Ave. Springfield IL 62707, and SmartyStreets.com could not verify that it was a legitimate address. Additionally, a Google Maps search was performed for the address of the business which returned a similar type of business offering auto salvage parts. This company was located near the alleged address but the address was slightly different.
BBB has searched the Illinois Secretary of State for any incorporations listed under the names of the companies reported; Precise Auto Salvage, Precise Auto Salvage US and Quality Auto Salvage which returned no results.
BBB has sent correspondence to the company via email, [email protected], and has yet to receive any response.
The following phone number were reported from consumers and found on consumer invoices; (800) 947-7242, (447) 333-2261, (447) 432-2033 and (888) 233-3599. BBB attempted to reach out to the company using these phone numbers. Three of the numbers returned a busy signal and one was an automated recording for a different company all together which stated that they were having a high call volume and disconnected.
The websites reported by consumers, http://preciseautosalvage.com and https://preciseautosalvageus.com are no longer in operation.
As of October 23, 2025 BBB cannot confirm that the business or the business' address is legitimate.
