We contact them to order double entry doors on our house. They told us that it would be 6 months before we got the new doors. The installer came to install the doors-(July 14) five weeks ago. The technician name-(**** *******) he stripped the screws and was unable to complete the installed. He put a 2 by 4 door across the front. I then called the company and they sent another technician to make the doors work correctly. The company had to order a new set of doors. The installer came on 8-26-25 two differ technician and installed the doors and left the outside unfinished. The technicians informed they I had hired a professional painter to finish the outside work. I didn&#**;t inform anyone of such actions. I contacted a gentlemen name-(*** *****) and he apologize but said he didn&#**;t know what else his company could do for me that would "please" us. I want my job finish and complete correctly. We originally owe them was $1800 and the company said we only had to paid $700.00.

A final credit was issued in an effort to resolve any ongoing issues for Mrs. ********* that my employees could not rectify to her satisfaction.

We feel this matter has been addressed and completed with the customer.

I have reviewed the business' response and am rejecting it because:
When I hire a company to do a job I expect it to be done right the first time! 6 months & 5 weeks and its still incomplete. Instead of them blaming their contractors for not doing their job appropriately they are blaming me & saying that they couldnt rectify it to my satisfaction! My request was very simple & that was to do the job right. I didnt think that was too much to ask. I wouldnt recommend Wilke to anyone after everything we have been through with them.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *********

      The job was never completed.

We have put many hours and much effort into correcting this customer's double door order/installation. Unfortunately, the subcontractor that installed our product did not do a satisfactory job, and we have taken full responsibility in having the installation corrected. We have agreed to credit her account for any misunderstandings and our inability to satisfy her. We let the customer know that although we would issue a credit we would not be performing any additional work/installation at her property. We feel it is pointless to keep responding to her back and forth, as she has stated that she will not be made happy by anything we say or do.

The above statement by Wilke Window & Door is incorrect. I wasnt even home when they did the 2nd install so I have no idea where they are getting their information from. When I got home & saw the job was incomplete I called *** right away & he said he would have a talk with the installer and this is the result of that. The bottom line is I purchased a set of double entry doors from Wilke thinking that they would be professionally installed and that was not the case. Their contractors are not even employed by them and the job was not completed. My first nightmare with them was when the first contractor tried installing the doors & stripped the screws and left us with a 2x4 in front of the doors. The area where my screen doors once stood that the first contractor removed they didnt even touch after they installed the 2nd set. ( pictures enclosed) *** ***** told me to keep an additional ****** of what we owed them & hire a professional painter to complete the job. The contractor made no effort to complete it himself. No need for them to reply back and keep blaming me for their incompetence.

I responded & This job was never completed & should not just go in their file as answered. They made no attempt to come to my home & complete the job they started instead they told me to hire someone else. I want this to show on their file so another consumer does not have to got through what Ive been through.

We signed a contract on September 23, 2024 with Lifestyle Kitchens and Baths, a division of Wilke ******************************** for a new quartz countertop. The "price includes measure and installation of tops and sink. Plumbing not included. Final measurements to be confirmed at time of template and may affect final cost. NOTE: PRICE INCLUDES REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF LAMINATE TOPS."About a hour after signing the contract and paying half of the total bill $2122.50, the designer called and told us the price of the removal had increased and it would cost us and additional $750.00. I explained that the contract that we signed included the this cost. She explained that she just found out about the increase. The countertop has been installed and we are waiting on the final bill, we will still dispute this additional cost.

I purchased cabinets to remodel a kitchen and the finish was very poor quality. They had to be returned and new cabinets had to be made. I was told my order would be expedited, and I was told it by one person three weeks, and another person told me they would even try to have them in two weeks. I was also told the project would be baby sitted and personally inspected to insure this wouldn't happen again since I was without a kitchen. The cabinets were delivered 6 weeks later, and the quality was as bed if not worse than the first cabinets. The cabinets were returned on 11/16/23, and as of today, 11/21/23, I've not heard from anyone with any options for my situation. At this point I would like a full refund for the cabinets and hardware I paid for in full.

We have reached out to the customer and resolved the issue in question.

Unfortunately, with it being a holiday week it took a couple days to rectify with our cabinet supplier.

      We apologize for the inconvenience.

      Thankyou,

By coincidence, the company reached out to me by phone shortly after I filed the complaint. They have offered me a full refund, however, they will only mail a check and I can't pick up payment in person. I will consider it resolved once I receive my refund by mail. These payments were made on a credit card so I am unsure why it cannot be refunded back to the card.
