Process Server Failed to ****************************** Used Unprofessional Tactics, Ignored Emails, and Refused Updates Complaint Details:I hired this process serving company and paid for same-day service on an urgent, time-sensitive legal matter. I was told that an attempt would be made that evening. However, the person being served is home regularly, and its clear that the server did not make a real effort to complete the job.Worse, the server knocked on the door and announced themselves as a process server, which is highly unprofessional and uncommon in the industryespecially when discretion is critical. This completely contradicted their earlier assurances that they would attempt service in a discreet manner and avoid tipping the person off. They made no attempt to conceal the documents or use any subtle method, despite my repeated and specific instructions. Before hiring, I asked whether they could provide photo or video confirmation of service. That request was ignored. Since then, I have sent multiple emails to the company asking for basic information:How many attempts have been made At what times When the next attempt will be made Whether any discretion will be used going forward They have refused to respond to my emails, have not answered calls, and have given me no updatesdespite knowing how time-sensitive and urgent this service is. I have now been forced to hire another process server entirely because they are refusing to provide the service I paid for and have failed to honor any of their contractual or professional obligations. This has delayed my legal case and wasted valuable time and money. I am requesting a full refund and a formal acknowledgment of their failure to perform

    Business Response

    Date: 07/07/2025

Our office received an assignment from ************** on June 2, 2025, requesting same-day service on Darec ***** ******* at *******************************************, as listed on the court-filed Summons.
Our server made three documented attempts:
    June 2nd at 7:57 p.m.
    June 3rd at 3:58 p.m.
    June 4th at 4:10 p.m.

During the final attempt, the current occupant at ****************** confirmed that the defendant did not reside at that address and stated that Darec resides at ******************, directly across the street.
As such, the original assignment was closed as anon-service at the provided address. Our server then proceeded to ****************** on June 6th, where the defendant was successfully personally served.
    We notified ************** that:
Service could not be completed at the address they provided
The defendant was located and served at a different address
As our fees are charged per defendant, per address, there would be an additional $85.00 service fee for the second location
At that point, a representative from ************** *****, responded with a series of emails in which she:
Accused our office of doctoring court documents
Alleged that we falsified the service information
Expressed dissatisfaction with the timing of updates, despite our office providing information promptly upon receipt from the server
Objected to the requirement of payment for the second service affidavit
Became hostile, using profane language and issuing threats to our staff via email
Emilys emails included serious accusations of fraudand obstruction, and threats to file complaints and post negative reviews across public platforms.

We are prepared to provide a full copy of the email correspondence upon request, as it clearly documents the escalation and the conduct exhibited. We are committed to transparency and professionalism and are happy to assist in resolving this matter.

    Thank You.
