  I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this establishment and he was very understanding and was very helpful. The staff not so much, they weren't very friendly and treated me less than because of the help the owner provided. One of the problems that they stated when they diagnosed was the cluster and the master cylinder. I was advised that this would take care of the problems and that I would be able to pass emissions and get my plates. I left the dealership and the cluster is worst than before, it still has all of the lights, it still isn't reading the gas hand and now the lights for being able to see the driving position and gas hands aren't working. I went in and was told by the guy there to come back in a week I had to drive a bit before they went away, I went and was turned away by ****. **** then explains as he does everytime we come in contact with each other that the owner helped me! Ok, when can I come back because the "repair" wasn't done? Well we are very busy as **** states and puts me off, I wait and at this point I can't go to the doctor can't take my kids because of this. I called and again **** explains that they helped me so I would have to pay for the cluster to be repaired! This is the part that was supposed to be repaired and was given to be worst than before! I'm worst than when I started. He then says I'll call you back and I don't hear from him.

  Hello,

  ******************* first called me on the shop phone crying that the repair shop she just paid for repairs took all of her money.

  She was attempting to get her plates for the car and needed to pass emissions.

  We often do repairs for needy mothers and she was very in need. 

  I had her bring the car and we diagnosed she needed a speedometer cluster.

  We also found the car was in very ill repair.

  The brakes were locking in the rear because of a failed master cylinder.

  First, we repaired the master cylinder and rear brakes - NO charge.

  Next, we needed to replace the cluster and have it programmed.

  This used part, or even if we used a new part, would need to be programmed and the fee for programming is ******.

  The used cluster was installed and we had to make an appointment to have it programmed.

  We set an appointment and installed the used cluster and had it programmed - still for NO charge.

  This customer then asked for receipt for *********************** so she could present to the *** for a waiver for emissions.

  I did not charge her ANYTHING.

  We serviced her car with brake repairs, electrical diagnosis and provided paperwork as she requested for the cost as if she had paid for it.

  We spent more than 4 days repairing and ordering the parts to do the repairs.

  I NEVER charged her for any of these services and drove her car and shuttled her to try and make her happy.

  This car was still in need of many repairs.

  Our only hope was to provide a safe car and help her with passing emissions.

  In no way have we not cared for or did our best to give a hand up with ****'s circumstances.

  I am rejecting this response because: as they stated and I did as well I thought they were trying to help, they said there hope was to help for a safe vehicle and pass emissions which neither is correct. The cluster they installed is faulty! I called to let them know that **** says well that will be $165! ***** my complaint all of the stuff they stated was irrelevant, if you go to a place regardless of the price to get a repair and the shop stated they repaired it but it wasnt repaired but made worse, then told you need to pay for the mistake?! ***** my issue! I asked for the one they took out of my car and **** states that he cant give back the old one?! Ex. If you walk into a bakery and was offered a cake at no charge for a anniversary and the event is taking place, there are bugs in the cake, the customer says you were nice to help me but my cake has bugs! If they say I need a cake without bugs you are going to say ok here is the charge for a cake?! ***** not helping if at the end of the day she is paying for something you claimed to have taken care of! ***** the issue, I never denied in anyway that it was offered help but its fraud and a lie if you say you fixed something in actuality you made worse then come back to charge me for the mistake?! ***** wrong, and a lie because the cluster wasnt indeed fixed! You took credit for something you didnt do the part that I had was better! Its like you stole a good part and put in a bad one! There wasnt a resolution provided at all! I only requested what they lied and said was done a working cluster! Otherwise thats theft they stole my cluster and replaced with a broken one
