On the 8th of December 2023, the gentleman came to fix our garage door. He removed three cables. My wife got called in to a meeting so she asked if he needed anything before she left. He got mad and left. They sent us a $256 bill. He never fixed anything. He just left the three cables there in the garage. When we contacted them to correct the problem, they were unwilling to fix the door or the billing problem. Don’t use this service.

Had a terrible experience with Crawford and brinkman doors and windows. It started off with trying to get quotes for a new garage door and opener. We got this company by word of mouth read reviews and thought we see what they had to say. Well the representative/sales person that came out seemed in a hurry and impatient and pushy. We were just looking.for a quote. Ended up putting a deposit of half or they couldn't hold.our spot because they had a 12-14 week wait. Due to covid. Hesitant we agreed and waited. Fast forward to 10 weeks and I call to see what the update on the new door is because they had to order it. Well I'm told that it's been pushed back 3 weeks. Everything was on backorder. Well we wait 3 weeks and it's 2 weeks until new quoted delivery and I call because I haven't heard anything. Well yet again it's been pushed back a few more weeks and I never got an update. So we wait some more. And get close to supposed delivery and no word so we call again and yet again delivery is pushed back and when I asked about why this is third time my order is pushed back without any form of notice I'm told well we have 80+ other customers waiting for orders and they can't do that. I tell them if it gets pushed back again I'm cancelling my order because I've talked to 3+ other companies/contractors that flat out said we can get it done and installed ina week. Everything is in stock all around. If everything is that backlogged how can you take that many peoples hard earned money and not give them the common curtsey of an update. After I have to call yet again and they tell me it's pushed back again. I tell them to cancel my order they tell me everyone is back logged and out of stock and what they didn't understand is when I told them cancel I had contacted another contractor as soon as I got off the phone and had a door ordered. Within 3 days I had a new nicer door and opener installed for less hassle and money than this company was going to charge. Then I had to call multiple times to get my refund for my deposit. They are definitely not the company or customer service they say. Stay away from this company and save your time frustration and money. Use a better company. 5 and a half months from the time I put in the order till the time I cancelled is ridiculous. Second contractor. Contact and in 3 days door is installed. Enough said.
