I'm a Brazilian immigrant, I started a small business called Acrylicool by *****, I signed up to be part-time vendor of the Park Ridge ******** Market on May 18, they contact me backasking for a few documents as ******** Sales Tax Certificate and a Certificate of ******************* with The ************ Ridge as Certificate Holder and a list of the products that we would sell. I also sent pictures of our booth in other festivals, invitation for them to come visit our booth before we started at their festival, what they never did. We first attended the Park Ridge ******** Market on August 6th, it was a success, a lot of people stopped by and gave a support to our lovely small business, ***************************** (Co-Market Master) Stopped by our booth at the end of the festival to personally introduce herself to us, we couldn't attend on August 13 due to the bad weather, we attended august 20 and on August 27 while we were still setting our booth up, a guy walked by our booth, looked up at everything for not even 1min, I would say not even 30 seconds, said that all of our stuff were from ***** and then walked away, during that whole day we walked back and forth in front of our booth staring at me deadly in the eyes, at that point, I had no idea who he was, just thought it was another possible customer just enjoying the festival. on August 30 we got an email from a guy called ***************************** saying that after a review of our product line, they are unable to allow us to continue selling at the Farmers Market. Because we adorn our products and we don't handmade and most of it is from *****. No words can describe how offended I feel by it, on how I'm struggling as an Immigrant starting a small business far from home and family, ever since that I tried to contact them several times, I finally got an email from them on September 15 saying that I got a refund of $166 approved and they would contact me about it but I never heard anything back. I'm really sad and I want my money back.
