1 starMy mom's car overheated because the coolant hose popped off. Was towed to *** and then we were informed that they just clamped it back on and asked if we wanted a coolant flush, we stated we did NOT want one due to the fact that it wasn't needed and the total of the repair was going to be $302.90. Well when I dropped her off to get her car a couple days later, the total came out to be $412 plus some change. We asked why did the price go up and the guy stated that it was because they DID end up doing a coolant flush saying we gave them permission to do one. So this guy LIED, his name is ***************************, put into the system that we gave permission to do so. Well we ended up leaving only paying the original total of $302.90 and going on our merry way. Today, the day after we picked up the car, ***** informed us that we are still responsible for paying the remaining balance and it will be charged to our account. Im not even sure if that is doable but either way, this place really f**ked up. NEVER go here unless you want to be charged for things you DON'T want or want to basically be pondering WTH is going on due to the lack of communication.Review fromJocelyn H

1 starWORSE CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVERRR!! DONT BUY FROM MCGRATH ARLINGTON KIA!!! I have them 1 star because i couldn't give zero. They misrepresent everything. They will tell you anything to make the sale, no integrity at all. I was given a flash drive and was told all the documents i had signed were on there. When i went home, only the warranty was uploaded. I was quoted ****** After going home and reviewing the paperwork, I was charged ******. I was told that was because of the tax, title, and other fees, but looking at the paperwork, those fees were only *****, which means i was still charged ***** more than what i was told. I mentioned the brakes were going out because they were going all the way to the floor, I was told it was because the car had been sitting for a while and once i drove it they should be fine, 24hrs later they are still the same. I drove the car off the lot, less than 10 miles up the road the service light came on. The lot was closed so I couldn't bring it back that night. Brought it back the next day When i mentioned the service light came on before i made it home he said you wasn't forced to buy the car so(shrugs) all they can do is see why the service light was on. ( They cleared the code and showed me the oil was clean, that was it) When I mentioned him being rude he said he felt like I was being rude to him so he can get rude back. At this point I asked can I just do a voluntary surrender of the vehicle due to the issues i was having with the service light, his attitude, the price change, the minor accident damage, brakes and i hadn't had the car a whole 24hrs!! His answer was we didn't force you to sign the papers, so no. I was informed by customer care that I could do a voluntary surrender of vehicle. So I called and informed them that I wanted to do the voluntary surrender of the car to avoid any further issues. I was told by the manager they won't accept the voluntary surrender, even though customer care told me that I could do so.Review fromRolando T

1 starDO NOT BUY/ LEASE HERE. I leased a 2022 Kia ******** from this dealership. The car has been a nightmare. The alarm goes off for no reason, the battery dies. Vehicle has been at their service **** 4/5 times, and each time, the car is returned to me as it came in. The service **** claims they cannot find anything wrong with it. At this point, the vehicle is useless. The car has to be jumped after each use. The service **** does not care about fixing my car. This has been the worst buying experience of my life...Review fromYesenia F

1 starThe service department attempted to scam me for an inaccurate $4000 repair. They damaged my AWD sensor after a wheel alignment. They told me to do a diagnostic test. I have it done. They said the wires were shortening to the ground unit. They attempted to fix it, but it came right back on the following day. They told me I needed to come in for 2nd diagnostic test. But this time now they wanted to claim I had damage to the rear differential. (My vehicle was less than a year old with no damage or impact of any sort). They DID NOT want to provide me with a pre-estimate of the repairs needed. Instead the advisor told me to take a picture of his screen, which I thought was weird and unprofessional. At that point I knew something was off. FAST FORWARD. I go to a different Kia ********** service department for now my 3rd diagnostic test, where they were able to properly detect the issue, fix the *************** was covered under warranty. They stated my car was working perfectly fine and nothing was wrong with the rear differential. I am furious about this! I am a first time car owner and I spent my hard earned money at this ********** just so they could attempt to scam me for inaccuracy repairs. They are sending me text messages every month to try to get me to come in to do the repairs. I also sent a private email to the general manager of this facility two months ago with a more detailed complaint on how everything went down and no one got back to me. So now my complaint has to be public. I will NEVER be returning.

Because of the damage on the vehicle we were unable to submit the repair under warranty. The dealer that did do the work, will to be reported to *** the manufacturer for performing the work that very clearly not warrantable. We will be providing the video and photos of the vehicle to them as well.Review fromBEWARE B

This looks like a fabricated review and there is no customer information. As discovered already from many previous fabricated reviews as we have discovered on other sites other dealerships are making these false reviews to sway people from doing business at our dealership.,Review fromPamela K

1 starAt first, I wrote a glowing review of this dealership and I still stand by my positive experience with the service department. The sales department is a different story. It started off well, but here I'm three and a half weeks later after several calls, emails to management, and a chat message re: the return of my deposit. I was looking into purchasing one of their used vehicles after having my *** was stolen, broken into, and damaged. I was told you need to put a deposit down to hold the used car. I specifically asked, what will happen if I decide not to purchase and the deposit? I was directly told I will get it back, no problem. We'll, it has become a problem. I drove 30 minutes to the dealership on a Monday evening back in July as I was told I need to return in house. Get there and told, too much time has passed and they can't add the deposit back to my card, therefore, a check will be mailed to me. No check. You would think after a $200 million dollar class action lawsuit which *** lost that *** dealerships would stay on code and do right by customers. So, instead of helping victims of stolen *** cars in full, they perpetuate ongoing violence by ghosting a customer who just shelled out money to repair a vehicle at their dealership. Make it make sense. Further, I shared with the sales guy I was looking into a vehicle to help my elderly mom (Alzheimer's) to make it easier for her to get in and out the car when we go for appointments, etc. I wonder how many other caregivers and women they'vedone this to? For those who are curious, below is a link to the *** National *** Headquarters. They have two numbers, a consumer report line and customer care. Per the website:"If you are having an issue with your vehicle, repair, or dealer, please visit our ************* Center."Lastly, the site also has their ***************************** and ******* page if customers elect go that route to articulate concerns ***************************************

1 starSTAY AWAY!!! Long story short...my fiance purchased his truck from this dealership in May 2021. HE FINALLY RECEIVED HIS TITLE THIS SPRING!! Then! We found out they took the taxes with our loan and never paid the **** From the time of purchase...there was lie upon lie upon lie. From the salesman, to finance department, office personal (just be thankful if you never had to deal with *****), even business owners' own brother. Communication response was terrible ****% of the time since purchasing and trying to handle everything involved. Props to the individual who immediately handled the financial issue regarding taxes this spring though. Praise God the truck itself was amazing...but the time, trouble, and money lost due to their lies...please don't test this yourself. It's not worth it. This business shouldn't even be allowed to operate after these shenanigans and the others we have read about involving them.

We profusely apologize for this situation. This is not a normal occurrence when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. The vehicle was purchased from a company who is no longer in business due to all the title issues associated with them. We openly communicated all the issues with the customer and worked all means possible to finalize the paperwork. We also communicated with the customer that any lates fees incurred would be covered by the dealership, we would just need a copy of the bill. Please reach out to us to get this rectified. Again, we sincerely apologize for all the problems this may have caused.Review fromJOSE R

1 starOn 3/1/2023 Took a ride to McGrath Kia ******** park cause they refuse to talk numbers online and said they only do that in house. Met with a sales person went out for test drive in a 2023 Sportage and got a little lost cause he wasn't from highland park and neither was I and he had only been with dealer for 2 months. Anyways we made it back. So I Attempted to get some numbers and wouldn't you know it they don't like giving out numbers in house either. Their afraid you will go else where to buy so if you don't COMMIT to buying from them you can forget about getting any numbers. Oh! on top of all that I come to find that they automatically tack on an additional $2495 for a Protection Package to ALL their new cars whether you want it or not. That is not disclosed with their online prices of their vehicles. I find that very deceptive. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEY WILL NOT SELL U A CAR WITHOUT THE EXPENSIVE ADD ONS The only way they can cut themselves a good deal is to ***** customers with an unnecessary $2495 Protection Package. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. Just my opinion.Review fromRobert K

1 starOn 12/30 my wife and I went to McGrath Arlington KIA about a vehicle shown on their website. After they told me the vehicle was available, we agreed to purchase. We signed all the paperwork on a tablet and gave them a check and trade-in title. They gave us our paperwork on a memory stick. The next morning 12/31 we looked, and the memory stick was empty. I asked my salesman to just email us the electronic files. By the end of the day nothing came. On 1/2 we received a call saying our vehicle was stuck in ***** with Quality issues and they would return the uncashed check and title. My son arrived to pick up my check, title/keys and paperwork and was told about the quality issues again. This wasn't truthful since the vehicle was in transit. After a loud exchange of words, my son was told there was no paperwork since it was not submitted. My son left and I returned to talk to our salesman. The salesman disappeared and I found myself in a conference room with the General manager. As their web of lies was unwinding, the General manager got frustrated and forced me to leave. I left and went to McGrath sister dealer (shared inventory) in Highland Park **** They told me that very vehicle was sold by them a day after I bought it. The dealership will tell you this was all an honest mistake but trust me there is nothing honest with them. Integrity is lost and truth is nowhere to be found at McGrath Arlington KIA.

On Tuesday, January 3, 2022, we called customer, *********************, to apologize and offer a resolution to make up for the incident that occurred on Monday. ****************** was initially hesitant to speak to us but after apologizing and assuring him that we wanted to help him, he warmed up and recapped the events of the previous day. We offered ****************** the option of an inbound Carnival EX, with a complimentary 3 year maintenance plan but he quickly declined because he and his wife determined that the features of the ** model were a necessity, and they were set on the Blue/Umbra color combination. He informed us that he and his wife were both retired and he wanted exactly what he wanted. After searching from coast to coast for the exact vehicle, our owner reached the Logistics Director for *** who would be able to get the only blue/umbra Carnival ** in the nation by rerouting it to our Highland ******************** We again called ****************** and with enthusiasm shared that we would be able to get the exact car that he wanted, and it would be here at the end of March. He quickly said that the only way that he would ********* with us is if we did not make a single ***** in profit and he was now pulling his trade out of the deal. We told him that we would have to run these new details past the manager but were not confident that would could accommodate his request. At that point, ****************** informed us that he had been in contact with another *** ********** and just wanted to move on. He also did not hesitate to tell us that he wasnt happy that he didnt hear from the owner and get an apology. We explained that it was our job to resolve the issue. Again, we hung up as he was done with dealing with us and was just going to move on. Upon hanging up with ******************, we immediately called the owner and shared ******************** sentiment. At that point, the owner requested that we call ****************** on a 3-way call at that very moment, which we did. ****************** answered the phone and stated, why are you calling me?. The owner spoke first and introduced himself, empathized with the customer and offered him the Carnival ** in blue/umber at MSRP with an approximate delivery date of mid-February. He even offered to put him in a dealer car to accommodate his needs until their vehicle arrived. Additionally, the owner reiterated the complimentary maintenance package and that the events that took place on Monday were not the way that we do business. In the end, ****************** said that he would have to consult with his wife since she was the one that was more mad them he was and requested to have the pricing in writing. Within 30 minutes, we emailed ****************** the *** and owners personal cell phone number, with a nice note showing appreciation for the opportunity. Later that evening, ****************** emailed back, declining our offer, saying that they are no longer interested in purchasing a *** and stating that no further contact from us was necessary
