      WORST insurance **************** Ive ever dealt with! I give 0 stars if it would let me.My dad passed away in Nov. 2022, he lives in IN, I live in **, as the next of kin and power of attorney I have done my best to muddle my way through this. I dont know all the ********** of insurance, I would think these people/ adjusters would help you through this process or maybe have half an once of care for their clients, they dont.I cancelled his car insurance, maybe a week after but left the house insurance. I explained that I lived in TX, his house is in IN, my mom, who is his ex ************* live there would be helping with this, there isnt someone living in it but we are checking on it daily.A couple months later there was a huge freeze in the ******* area. The pilot light went out on his furnace when the electricity went out for the night and next day, so all the pipes in the house froze, my mom got over there the next day after the temps warmed a bit. Water was coming out multiple locations throughout the house from where pipes burst. I started the claim process, I left multiple voicemails, it is extremely hard to get in contact with them, they were supposed to send an adjuster out, 1st they said save receipts, then said I need to get quotes & submit to them for all the damages I was jerked around by them over & over again. They let me think everything I was doing was the correct process. NEVER, until yesterday did they say anything about me needing to change the policy to a Vacant Home Policy, even though I told them before any of this happened no one was officially living in the home. They denied the claim saying I was supposed to change the policy to Vacant Home. Then said, if you had the Vacant Home Policy, this would have been covered! Why wouldnt they tell me that months ago when I originally told them about this situation?! Then they talked to me like I was an idiot for not knowing this info & hung up on me because I was cursing.
