I used AAA and had a dead battery. 4 hrs. later no one showed up. I called and no one had been dispatched yet. They were sending someone from ***********, **, 50 miles away. I asked if they could bring me a new battery (which is supposed to be one of the perks). I was told NO because of where I lived; that this service was not available to me. Made no sense. Buyer beware - they make a lot of claims that they do not follow through with. Finally, after 5 hrs. of waiting I got a jump start and went to ******** in *******, ** and purchased a new battery which they were kind enough to install for me.

I went to AAA to get my car serviced they told me it would be $1,400 to do the service they told me that I needed gas kits for my heads because they were leaking and that's why my engine light was on they also told me I needed to have my fuel injectors cleaned they also told me I needed to get a tune-up which involves plugs and it involved wires of oil change all the flu has changed so I decided it's okay because they're AAA and are supposed to be very good 3 weeks later I had to take my car into a different mechanic because I was a different issue but I literally mechanic and he had fixed my power steering pump and notice that there was no fluid inside the power steering pump so I asked him if he could take a look I just had new plugs put in new head gaskets put in I had a couple other things putting that I had mentioned my mechanic looked at this and said that they never replaced any spark plugs nor did they do the replacement of the head gaskets can they give me another list of things that needed to be done and he said that none of these other things needed to be done none of the fluids were changed like they say and I was still charged to 1400 I asked them to see the parts that they changed after they did the job they told me that they've already disposed of them I've never been to a mechanic before that has not been able to show me the parts that they've replaced I really would like to have a complete refund and an apology I noticed on their sites that they are getting many many complaints the people who are running the front for the service department a very rude when you ask him something they don't want to respond to you and they take so long time to do anything and get back to you on it.

I cancelled insurance on **** fusion last year and found out this month that they refused and did not cancel. Said they needed proof that I sold it. I can find no law that gives them the right of law enforcement on registering cars in *****. Attorney General says they do not not have legal authority to refuse to remove a vehicle from a policy.

I have full RV coverage and was left along side the road with a flat for 3 days in 30 degree weather. When I was contacted, I was told I would have to pay for 1/2 the towing fee. I've paid Premier RV full coverage for 16 years, with towing within 100 miles to the destination of my choice and when you need them, they spit on you. I am 72 years old and had to do all the tire service myself. Do the research! You'll die of old age waiting on them!

AAA towed my vehicle improperly, causing $23000.00 damage to transfer case, transmission and tires. Followed AAA instructions by two different AAA employees, same directions, keep receipts, including if I have to rent a car. Turned all receipts in, AAA inspector saw all the damage, agreed this was caused by improper tow, however AAA will not reimburse full amount. Still owed $6000.00 AAA directed me to get monies from the tow company. I didn't call the tow company, I called AAA. 36 year as a member of AAA. AAA used to be a great company, Shame on BBB giving them an A+ rating. AAA is NOT A+ rating of anything.

I've had AAA membership since 2002 and only used it once before, with a good experience. This week I was in a small Illinois town (population around ******) near *********** and had my first flat tire. I called AAA at 1:30 in the afternoon and was sent a link via text to request service. I got a response that service had been scheduled and I sat in my car roadside waiting. Over the next couple of hours I got two automated calls saying taking longer, but I'm still scheduled. My cell phone battery was dying, so around 4:30 I asked my sister to bring a charging cord. When she arrived, I called AAA at 5:30 p.m. and was told by the agent that there were no available service providers in my area and she also couldn't locate a tow truck. She suggested that I put my keys in the tailpipe and I could take a taxi to the place I was staying (there are no taxi services in this town) while they worked on finding a tow service. She also suggested that I try to find a tow service and AAA would reimburse me. I told her this was unacceptable and I didn't understand why I wasn't notified earlier that service couldn't be located. By this time I had been waiting 4 hours for service on a nice spring day (no adverse weather events) and I told her I'd call a relative for help - it was another hour before they arrived so all in all a simple flat tire lasted over 5 hours. Then at 2 a.m. in the morning, AAA called to find out if I still needed a flat tire changed. I told them that I told the operator at 5:30 that I would make other plans. I won't be renewing my membership after 22 years.

Some agents are helpful and some are not so helpful but they are just doing their job so the main culprits are the sales agents and the supervisors who mislead and provide different information with so much inaccuracy and discrepancy among each other. I want to give company 0 star.

Terrible service - and scammers! If I could rate them a -5, I would. I have a 3 year warranty on a battery I purchased from them. I called them to change my car battery on Wednesday because it was dead. After it took them 5 hours to get to me, I was told they do not change batteries AT NIGHT. On Thursday I called for someone to come out - after, again, another 5 hours, I was told they could not replace my battery because it was completely dead "and it is a possibility that something else in your vehicle is draining your battery" and that I needed to go to an auto shop to have it tested and charged. Sunday someone came out, jumped started it and told me the same thing. I drove my vehicle directly to AutoZone, and AutoZone told me it was a bad battery and that aaa NEEDED to replace it because its under warranty. Fortunately I didn't take aaas advice and have the auto part store fully charge it - because Monday morning (today), the same guy who came out Wednesday, "tested" it and I was told the battery wasn't at 100% but its fine (because it still had the charge from yesterday). So, basically, if the battery is completely dead, they can't replace it because a dead battery is not covered under warranty - but if it has a little charge - they can't replace it because it's not completely dead. Therefore the warranty doesn't cover it. Additional to the fact that the battery is evidence of itself that its bad because it keeps going dead, I also have test results from both AutoZone and ******* auto parts contradicts everything aaa says. At this point, I have to LOL these people are scammers! My advice to customers, don't EVER buy a battery from aaa!

Me and my 2 yr old have been sitting in the car outside the corner of 68th and western from 2 p.m. til still waiting on someone to dispatch a truck to help me. It is now going on 5 and a truck was supposed to be coming from Wisconsin to pick me up. How does this really help me if I sent a call in at 2. This is outrageous and they wonder why the innocent get killed.
