    On Aug. 1, 2023, we contracted Apex Energy Solutions for $87,000 to replace all **************** expecting completion within ***** weeks. Installation finally began in Jan. 2024. From the start, workmanship was poor: gaps in sealing, cracked window glasses, incorrect grid patterns, weather-stripping was missing, and door thresholds were ill-fitting. These issues caused persistent drafts throughout our home and resulted in significantly higher energy bills, making our living environment uncomfortable and inefficient.Despite repeated complaints, Apexs responses were dismissive. Sales manager **** ******* initially denied responsibility, later admitted installers concealed damage with caulking, and promised repairs that never materialized. Communication with East Region VP ****** ******** was inconsistent; he often ignored our messages and blamed weather or transport for defects, ignoring the obvious poor workmanship.More concerning, Apex falsely informed our lender, GreenSky, that the project was complete, triggering premature loan disbursement and causing significant financial strain. While ******** recovered some funds, we absorbed most of the financial loss.Poor sealing caused caulking to peel within months and mold to grow behind windowsa serious health hazard. One bathroom window remained cracked and was only temporarily taped, exposing us to cold, moisture, and potential damage.Some problems have been partially resolved through reinstallation efforts, but many issues still need attention. Installer refusals, staff turnover, missing parts, and broken promises have prolonged this ordeal well into 2025.The repeated delays, shoddy workmanship, and financial burdens have caused us severe emotional distress and hardship. We urgently request the BBBs assistance to hold **** accountable, ensure proper project completion, remediate all damages, and fairly compensate us for the ongoing disruption and losses we continue to suffer.

    On 7/27/2023 I wrote a check to apex energy solutions in the amount of $3,995. 00. This was the initial payment toward window replacement on my house. I waited 3 months then my husband called them asking about when they would be out to do the install. They said the glass was ordered and should be here soon. We called 3 more times ( about a week apart each time) and recieved the same answer. The last time we tried the ( local ) phone had been disconnected. I drove to the office location and the building was empty. I asked a business next door when they moved out and was told about 2 months prior. So while they were telling us the windows were on the way they were moving out. I contacted my bank and they said they couldn't refund the money because too much time had passed since the check was cashed by Apex Energy Solutions, and I should contact the police. I got the corporate phone number and contacted ***************************. ******* acted surprised about the whole thing but supplied me with the boise chapter owners names and cell numbers. I contacted the police and they took it from there. When the police contacted me again they said apex corporate closed the business locally and the previous owners were told existing customers would be taken care of by corporate. I told ******* this and he said they were trying to get funding but would take care of all us affected. He keeps draging me along and even said " I basically had my money stolen". I need my money back.
