They and provide a safer alternative to traditional cash advances, as the entire balance does not have the be paid off on the next due date; instead, it is balanced out throughout the entire period of the installment, so the consumer has a longer period to pay it off. There is also no penalty for prepayment, so if the customer is able to pay the balance off sooner, he or she is able to do so without fear of punishment. Loans range from $100 to $4,000, and repeat customers are able to get better rates with lower interest. Rates and fees vary depending on the credit score of the customer and other factors.
