            Penco Electric was contracted to install me back up home generator. They installed the generator over a month ago. During the initial installation a trench was dug on my property to install a gas and electrical line to the generator. An inspection was done which stated the company failed to dig a trench deep enough for a gas and electric line and the job failed the inspection. Penco subsequently sent workers to correct this mistake and dig a deeper trench. I was told everything was fixed and a reinspection was scheduled for Nov 15 2023. The inspection was again done and the company once again failed to meet code requirements as the trench again was not deep enough and failed the inspection. I haven't heard from the contractor since that time and I have been the one having to reach making several calls a day to finish this job. It has been over a month with a dangerous trench on my property which I have to keep the dogs from chewing or messing with the underground lines. The company has not completed the work in a timely manner and now is not responding to my calls as of today November 16th 2023.

            I want to ensure I added to my comment from the other day (5/21/2021). The owner of ******************** did reach out to me and apologized for the experience we had last week. He was out of town and had to delegate responsibilities to his managers. My family and I appreciate that he would take the time to do this. Unfortunately, we had a poor experience, but I did want to add that once I complained, the manager did send a couple guys out Friday night to ensure my backyard was not a safety hazard, compete the job and clean up a bit. I have to give credit to the owner for reaching out and discussing the issues we had. I provided constructive feedback to his manager that transparency and communication is key and if he had reached out to us, this situation could have been avoided. Hoping as we move forward, it will be positive from here.
