    Date of Incident: May 31, 2024 Business Name: RMK Karting Business Location: ******** Contact Person: *************************** Description of the Complaint:On May 31, 2024, I purchased a go-kart from a Margay Kart dealer called RMK Karting in ********. Before shipment, *************************** emailed me a video of the kart running and provided several shipping options. I selected A&A Carrier to ship the go-kart to me. ***** also sent pictures of the box before shipment.Upon receiving the shipment on June 11, 2024, I noticed significant oil leakage inside the box. I checked the LO206 ***************** engine and found oil present. When I cranked the engine, it ran louder than usual and emitted white smoke, indicating it was overrunning. I immediately shut it off and informed ***** about the smoking issue. He responded by saying it was likely a problem with the carburetor.I sent ***** pictures showing oil in the box, and he requested a video of the issue. When I attempted to crank the engine a second time, the flywheel would not budge. My mechanic disassembled the engine and found that the valves were not shut and oil was still present. He confirmed that the engine is seized.Desired Resolution:Given these issues, I am requesting one of the following resolutions:A engine refund A replacement engine Coverage for repair costs Attachments:Photos of the box and the oil leakage Videos showing the engine issues Picture of oil was present in the engine Additional Information:Despite multiple attempts to contact ***** via phone and other communication methods, he has not responded to resolve this issue.
