Took my car there for an estimate for damage to front bumper and fender. The estimator took a crowbar to pry open the door that had no damage to it and ruin the door too. He could of easily just pulled fender back but wanted to add to cde estimate. Talk to management and he said thats standard practice. This was they're ******* ******* cde collision. Stay far away. Now my car that didnt need a door repair does. And car fax will show that. They devalue my car and could care less.

We value all our customers and write estimates for customers several times a day and throughout the year. The vehicle was not brought in by the owner but by a family member and a neighbor. Our estimator was asked by one or both of the parties present to see if he could assist to free up the door so it can be opened. The vehicle had damage to the front bumper and left fender which was pushed back into the door. There already was very minor damage to the left front door at the edge. The estimator made them fully aware to free up the door so it opens, he might cause some additional damage to the door. The way the fender was pushed back, it was the only way to accomplish that. The intention of the estimator was just to write an estimate for the existing damage and not touch the door. But he was instructed to do so. Unfortunately we did cause a bit more damage to the door but 99% of the damage caused to this vehicle was caused by the at fault driver and not CDE. The estimator was just trying to help out the customer with their request and it ended up backfiring on him. We sympathize with the vehicle owner.
