I am filing this complaint regarding the 5-day cybersecurity challenge I enrolled in. I made my first installment payment of $188 CAD through Sezzle, with additional payments scheduled. I am requesting a refund of my initial payment and cancellation of all future installments. The basis of my complaint is as follows:1.Misrepresentation by Representatives:When I was contacted by the companys representatives, I was told that the program included resume and LinkedIn optimization, along with support beyond the 5-day challenge. This information influenced my decision to enroll. However, after joining, I discovered that this was not true.2.Contradictory Information in Class:During the second class (which was recorded), two other participants stated that they were also misled by the representatives. In response, Mr. **** said that maybe the **** did not know the real deal. This showed that the information given to participants was inconsistent and misleading.3.Lack of Promised Support:After the 5 days, there was no further support as I had been led to believe. Instead, a mentorship program costing $12,000 USD was introduced, with claims that participants would be assured at least two cybersecurity jobs paying $100,000 USD or more. This critical information was not disclosed upfront.4.Ignored Refund Request:After the second class, I called to request a refund. I specifically stated that I wanted it on record that I was requesting a refund. Instead of honoring my request, the staff member deflected and told me to trust the process. I told the staff affirmatively that there was no need. Mr **** said on the video call that He would refund one of the people that complained . This situation was misleading, unfair, and inappropriate. I was induced to pay based on false claims, and when I attempted to request a refund, it was denied. I am requesting an immediate refund of my first payment and the cancellation of any further scheduled payments with Sezzle.

    Dear Representative,

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint submitted by Ms. ******** regarding the 5-Day Cybersecurity Job Challenge.

    Hello ********,

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify key details regarding your experience.

The 5-Day Cybersecurity Job Challenge is an introductory training and mentorship program designed to help participants gain foundational cybersecurity knowledge, develop clarity about career pathways, and receive structured guidance for transitioning into the cybersecurity field.

While the challenge provides mentorship and job application guidance as part of the overall learning experience, the comprehensive job-readiness and placement supportincluding advanced mentorship, interview preparation, and personalized job-trackingare included only in the Extended Mentorship Program, which follows the initial 5-day challenge. This distinction is clearly communicated during orientation and outlined in our participant materials.

Regarding the refund request, please note that refunds are not applicable once access has been granted to the full suite of course materials, live sessions, and bonuses, as the programs full value is delivered upon enrollment. This policy is communicated before the start of the program and agreed to at the time of registration.

For reference, our refund policy is publicly available on our official program page:

We remain committed to transparency and continuous improvement in all aspects of our programs.

The brand is fully aware of what they are doing. They sold participants a concept that extended beyond the five-day class promising continued support with interview preparation and job placement. However, by the second day of the program, it became evident that this support was conditional upon additional payment.

All phone conversations were recorded, and I urge you to request access to the recordings of the calls between myself (********) and their representatives via their WhatsApp number. If the organization maintains integrity and has not deleted those recordings, they will clearly confirm my claims.

I want to reiterate that I was explicitly told I would have access to the teams support beyond the class duration. In hindsight, it is apparent that the representative, Olarenwaju, made these assurances simply to convince me to register.

During the second day of the class, another participant raised the same concern, stating she too was under the impression that post-class support was included. The convener responded by offering her a refund. I made a similar complaint in the chat, confirming the same experience, but my messages were ignored. A third participant also voiced similar concerns.

The explanations given for this misinformation were unconvincing. Therefore, I am requesting that they either:

Issue a full refund and I will discontinue the scheduled payments, or
Provide the continued support as initially promised.

I trust that the BBB upholds fairness and integrity and will ensure that this organization is held accountable. If a full refund cannot be made, at the very least, the remaining scheduled payments through Sezzle should be canceled, as the organization clearly failed to deliver on what was promised.

They have consistently responded by insisting that they fulfilled their obligations, without acknowledging or addressing the clear instances of misrepresentation.

    Sincerely,

    ******** Omolegbe

I paid $697.00 to ******** ******* of excelmind cybersecurity. He charged the fee as a VIP membership for those who can make the impromptu payment without mentioning any additional payment will be charged later. He promised the following as part of the package; a one on one consultation with ******** *******, he will personally create my Resume, he will train and guide me till I secure a job including interview prepping, join a vip member club for information sharing, get priority to ask questions during the training and guide me to get certifications as required. None of this was given to me after payment. I payed on the 09/02/2025, got an email that the class begins on the 09/15/2025. Only to get a message days after that the class continued on the 09/03/2025 and I had missed some days. This put me off balance as I tried to play catch but couldnt, reached out to his team and explained things they promised to fix it but nothing was done. No additional payment of any sort was discussed during the sale of the package less I wouldnt have payed In the first instance, only for Tolulope to introduce another fee of over $12,500 else the services I initially paid for wont be delivered, which means I was deceived at the first instance because if the extra fee was mentioned theres no way I would have paid since I cant afford such. He also mentioned while pitching the sale that if we dont feel like we got value he will refund us a 100% of our payment. I have contacted him and his team severally but they are busy playing games, I wish I looked him up earlier I wouldnt have fallen for his scam, a lot of people have fallen prey before me.

I paid for a Cybersecurity boot camp which was intended to get you ready for a career in cybersecurity. Their targeted ads included helping with cv writing, LinkedIn optimisation, linking you with recruiters in the space, websites that you can apply to jobs directly and interview preparations. It was a 5-day accelerator programme. I made a payment of $697 USD on the 10th of August, 2025 (training to start on the 18th of August 2025); however, when I reached out to someone who supposedly attended the training and was informed it was a scam and that all those promises in the ads were not achieved and except you pay another $12,000. So, I reached out to the team on the 12th of August ********************************************************* the training. I am yet to get any response or my money back from the organisation.I also sent a direct message to the conveyor on LinkedIn (******** *******), and got no response as well. Please see details below of the organisation:Name: Excelmindcyber LLC

Subject: Final Notice: Refund Request for ******************* $697.00 Charged on 04/05/2025Dear ******** ******* / Excel Mind Cyber,I am writing to formally dispute a charge of $697.00, which was processed on April 5, 2025, for a service that was never provided by your ********** date, I did not receive any training or services and promised , nor have I been given a valid explanation or resolution. I participated in the companys 5-Day Cybersecurity Challenge Bootcamp held from May 2630, 2025, after which I was offered a place in a 90-Day Advanced Program, promoted as a pathway to securing a six-figure cybersecurity role. I was particularly motivated to accept this offer due to assurances made by the company during the bootcamp that funding partners and financial organizations they worked with would provide easy access to educational loanseven for participants outside the **** and Canada.Based on these assurances, I paid an initial deposit of $1599 on 05/30/25 to secure my spot in the program. I was issued a receipt and told I would be contacted regarding funding options.Upon contacting the suggested financial partners immediately after the bootcamp, I was informed by all of them that they only offer loans to residents of the **** and Canadaa condition not disclosed upfront. As a non-resident, this made it impossible for me to continue with the program.I immediately contacted the company requesting a refund of my deposit, explaining the situation and the fact that I cannot benefit from the services due to misleading eligibility information. However, as of the date of this letter, I have not received a response or refund. Why I ************************************ misrepresented financing availability during the sales pitch. They accepted a deposit based on false assurances. They have been unresponsive regarding a legitimate request for refund after failed financing.Their practices may be in violation of consumer protection laws, including false advertising and deceptive inducement.Desired Resolution:I am requesting a full refund of my deposit in the amount of [insert amount] and that the company be investigated for potentially misleading and unethical business practices.

I came across the advert of ************** owner (******** *******) on ******** claiming he is able to teach Cyber Security Program to anyone who has no knowledge of IT and can be able to get a job within 45days or less. He encouraged us to join his webinar for more info about the program, which I did.He said, if you go through the program and you don't get a value for your money and you are not able to secure a 6 figure paying job, that he would refund you. Based on that, I went ahead and made a payment. The main other reason why I am requesting my refund is because I didn't know when he promised to guide us on how to successfully pass our Professional Exam(ISACA) was by cheating. He referred me to his contact and the person asked me to make my payment and get back to him and that on the day of the said Exam, he would be the one taking over my computer and writing the Exams for me and not me, The main other reason why I am requesting my refund is because I didn't know when he promised to guide us on how to successfully pass our Professional Exam was by cheating. Date of transaction is March 16th 2024 I enrolled in Excelcybermind, a cybersecurity training bootcamp run by *********************** on March 16th 2024 attracted by the promise that it could turn a complete novice into a cybersecurity expert in just 90 days. This claim, as I painfully learned, is not only unrealistic but also grossly misleading, leading me to caution others about my experience.Misleading Promises: The central premise of the programthat someone with no IT background could become a cybersecurity expert in under two monthsis profoundly deceptive. The "training" provided consists of pre-recorded videos that are far from sufficient for the profound understanding and skills required in cybersecurity. He also promised to help get CRISC and CISA certifications but nothing! They did my resume but looking at it, no potential employer would recruit me with such resume. Few weeks ago, I emailed him to get a refund and the success manager said they couldnt because the program delivered what it said it would deliver but it did NOT. It even promised for people like me that have zero background in IT to get a job by the end of the bootcamp or even before if lucky. The operations of Excelcybermind, under ***********************, prey on the aspirations of those eager to enter the cybersecurity field. The too-good-to-be-true marketing does not deliver on its promises, leading instead to potential financial loss and ethical quandaries for its students.

**********************************, did a ******** advert about teaching people how to earn six figures salary in 90 days of attending his cybersecurity program for the sum of USD $2,999.00. He promised to provide a full refund at any time. I paid the full course fee of USD $2,999.00 on March 18, 2024 and got registered for the course on March 19, 2024. I was granted an online access with pre-recorded introductory video and access to online training materials. I started accessing the training materials and have seen 9% of the entire course uploaded on my online portal. I got worried when I viewed the introductory video, where ********************************** said he will help students to create a fake LinkedIn account with unverified/ fictitous past experience in order to get jobs. I then went online to check reviews and saw similar complaints from past students who were worried about same issues and one particular about a mercenary writing professional certifications on behalf of students in order to pass 100%.I couldn't continue with this level of deceit. It was clear to me that the training would not be beneficial to me and I had important family issues to attend to and could not catch up with the hours for reading and watching uploaded videos. I approached ******************************* for a refund on March 30, 2024. I didn't get a response until April 4, 2024 that I was not eligible for a refund. Mr ******** during his advert and introductory videos claimed a 90 days money back guarantee and never mentioned anything related to eligibility. From reviews online and the ones I have read, it's a similar situation for most students. This is fraud. The cybersecurity program needs to investigated and money refunded to students who request for refunds. Reviews about this fraud can be found on *******************************************************************

I registered for a training on 3/4/2024 through a webinar for cyber security and wired the payment $3000 the next day on 3/5/2024. I attended a second webinar he posted the evening of the same day I wired the payment and *********************** the owner and host of the program during the * & A session advised the audience that the program is not for people in their 60s and up because you would not have a lot of years to work before retirement. So he would advise people in that age group not to invest in the program. At this time I had wired my $3000 that afternoon already. I sent an email for a refund because I told him I am 59 yrs this year. I only have 6 yrs to retire. And I dont think I can compete with the younger candidate in that field IT. What is more I told him I do not think I can learn all the volumes of the training. During the webinar I realized there is a lot to learn. He responded my email by saying he understands my position but advised me to consider giving access of my paid program to my son who is younger and I said No. I even explained that my son has his own business and doing well. What is more he said he has no time at this time to take on a new training. He has refused to refund the money. He doesnt respond to my emails. He has gone silence on my request to refund my money. All my emails to him indicates seen or read by him. So I know he is just ignoring me. The training has not even started but he is refusing to refund my $3000. They have a 45 days money refund policy after the training. I have not even started the training. I dont know when the training starts. Yet he is refusing to refund the $3000 I wired him via my bank to his account. He has confirmed receipt of my payment because I sent him my proof of payment. I even told him someone said on Trustpilot that refund with him and his company becomes a tag of war. And I said I hope that is not what I will be experiencing with this refund. Today is the 6th day without a response. Help me
