      Originally, I was told by someone that if the battery drains again, then I need to replace the alternator. On May 22, 2025 I called the fire stone Lisle to tell them that I needed a new alternator. On May 23, after speaking with the tow truck driver from AAA he told me after he put his battery charger on my battery that it is not the alternator and its gotta be something else as he was loading up my car to take it to Firestone Lisle, I telephoned them immediately at 9:32 AM and told them that it was not the alternator and not to replace it and to please findout what is draining the battery on my car as I have had two batteries replaced within a year. I get a call approximately 12:30 today and he tells me that the alternator has been replaced and I had a very long argument with him because I specifically called and told him that so whoever picked up the phone did not the correct information and if he did hear the information he should have called me to verify the changes. Instead, we kept arguing back-and-forth so I will still be disputing the alternator because to put the old one back in. He said that he would have to charge me double bill was $685.00 zero. I certainly cannot afford $1200 for replacing something that I specifically told them not to replace this morning. I feel like I am being jacked aroundand that they are scamming me out of money that I do not have if this is the case this is not the same place that Ive taken my car to Because they would have known exactly what to do when they receive my vehicle. This is the reason for the phone call at 9:32 AM this morning and I everything to whomever picked up the phone now because it wasnt transferred to whoever is running the desk its not my fault. It is not myfault that directions were not brought to his attention and this is completely ridiculous and now I have to pay another $200 for diagnostic check to find out what is draining the battery theyre starting sound like giant crooks now.
