The PowerSmart Generator worked fine for 6 months then it started to fall apart. First the muffler literally broke away from the motor leaving the ****** and the screws that held it on. I contacted Amerisun but got the run around. So, I contacted ****** from whom I bought it. They sent a letter to the company, and I had a new muffler within 4 days. When installing the new muffler, I found out that the s**** that I was supposed to mount the muffler support bracket too was damage. There was a big area of the threads on the s**** were missing. It didn't allow the motor bracket to be tightened down. I feel the damage to the s**** was done at the manufacturer. Amerisun only keeps sending me mufflers when the lates package get here that will be 3 mufflers. What is the matter with this company?Business Response

05.20.24 lawnmower purchase from company via *********** Paid $240.90 Summer of 2024 - made multiple attempts to call company's customer service number for general information and left numerous messages to no avail. Outgoing messages, regardless of queue selected, never indicated anyone was available to take the call. On 06.23.25 - called and waited on hold for 30 minutes before the system disconnected the call to report issue with the mower not working AND emailed and still have not received a response. Website appears to be legitimate, but business practices, or lack thereof, suggest otherwise. I am rejecting this response because:Taking 4 days to respond to customer contact is unacceptable for any legitimate business. In its response, the company did not acknowledge my reference to the numerous attempts I made to reach it by phone calls, which were NEVER answered, and voicemails which were NEVER returned. Thus it appears that the ONLY reason it responded at this time is because it was also contacted by the BBB. Given the reviews I saw for it's BBB profile, I do not expect it will make any good faith effort to remedy this concern. Had I known they existed, I would have never made this purchase. While I will respond to the company with the information it requested in order to record my warranty, I must note that portions of it were contained in the email I had already sent. Additionally, the company has already communicated refusal to refund any of my money. Moreover, a check of their website indicates that there is literally only one "service center" in my entire state (AL), and it is around 75 miles away from me.

ORDERED THE POWERSMART LAWN MOWER MODEL DB2821 FROM ******; WITHIN 30 DAYS THE **** STOPPED WORKING. I purchased a lawn mower on ******, from **********, on July 16, 2024. It came with a 3-year warranty. This spring, when I went to start it for the first time, the engine was seized. I contacted customer support, and they said that since it's past the 30 day return window, I couldn't return it. I informed them I wasn't trying to return it, I wanted it fixed so that I'd have a mower. They told me that my options were to ship it to them, at my expense, or to take it to the nearest service station, 3 hours away, at my expense.I feel cheated and lied to by their practices. I purchased a PowerSmart 209CC engine 21" 3-in-1 gas self-propelled lawn mower, Model # DB2194SH, on April 2, 2023, which has a 3-year warranty. I used this mower about eight times each year from April to October for my yard of less than 5000 square feet. When I did my annual mower maintenance on April 13, 2025, I found this mower was totally broken. The mower had had several major or significant functional problems within about two years. (1) The engine failed to start, despite my annual maintenance including engine oil change and air filter cleaning. (2) The left handle s**** could not be tightened, as it started to loosen during mowing in 2023 and to the point of not going down in 2024. (3) The mower was extremely difficult to restart if I took a break. However, Amerisun denied my warranty with no justifications and excuses that are not supported by the evidence, using dishonest and unprofessional practices such as de-selecting unfavorable photos for them from the service center, adding photos not from the service center, recreating photos, and fabrication. In so doing, Amerisun breached its contract of my warranty; violated the basic principles of honesty, fairness, and responsibility in business; and hurt consumers like me. Furthermore, by design, Amerisun simply has no intent or plans to provide a warranty for its products because a replacement motor is simply not available for my PowerSmart mower. That partly explains why Amerisun tried very hard to find all the pretexts to deny my legitimate warranty. I have exhausted all the possibilities to resolve the dispute with Amerisun by contacting the people in charge. However, Mr. ********** Director of Aftersales Operations, was not willing to resolve the problem and has not responded to my May 7 email. Hence, I have no choice but to file this complaint against Amerisun.Please see my full complaint letter for all the details in an attachment and relevant photos of my mower from the service center.Business Response

*** ***** characterization of the facts surrounding this warranty matter is not only inaccurate but contains statements that are demonstrably false and potentially defamatory.
Attached to this correspondence are four supporting documents that clearly substantiate our findings:
Attachment 1 A screenshot of communication from *** ***** ******, who explicitly describes the issue as a result of dirt ingestion.
Attachment 2 A copy of the work order from Altaquip, an independent third-party repair facility, which independently confirms in writing that dirt ingestion was the direct cause of engine failure.
Attachment 3 Images of the filter housing, clearly showing significant dirt presence beyond both air filters. This contamination led to scoring of the cylinder walls, consistent with the smoking issue noted in *** ***** original complaint.
Attachment 4 A photograph of the engine oil in *** ***** unit. The oil is visibly discolored and contaminated, consistent with dirt intrusion, which further supports the diagnosis.
The air filter images provided by *** **** were, in fact, taken by Altaquip after they had cleaned the unit. His implication that the engine failed due to reasons other than dirt ingestion is not supported by any credible evidence and ignores the independent assessment from Altaquip.
Our warranty terms clearly state that, in the event of a warrantable failure, the manufacturer may choose to repair or replace the product. The decision not to stock engines is based solely on cost-efficiency and logisticsnot as a mechanism to avoid warranty obligations, as *** **** has falsely suggested.
As to the photos shared with *** ***** these were the same images originally provided by *** ******* The only modifications were slight crops for clarity, done in good faith to highlight the relevant issues.
Regarding the k*** mentioned in *** ***** correspondence: although it is unrelated to the current claim, we are willing to provide this hardware free of charge as a gesture of goodwill, as the unit remains under warranty for such minor components.
We hereby reaffirm our decision to deny the engine claim, as the failure was caused by conditions expressly excluded from warranty coveragenamely, damage resulting from the ingestion of foreign material.
Lastly, we must address *** ***** public and written comments, which contain false and disparaging assertions against both myself and the company. These statements may constitute defamation and libel, and we respectfully demand that such conduct cease immediately. Continued publication or circulation of such content may compel us to pursue legal remedies to protect our professional and commercial reputation.

Subject: Response to Assertions Made by Mr. ************** are writing in response to the recent correspondence received from Mr. ***** After careful review, we must respectfully state that the assertions presented in his letter are inaccurate and do not reflect the facts surrounding this matter.
The conclusion referenced in his letter was not determined by Amerisun, but rather by an independent third-party service provider, ********, following their professional evaluation. ******** has no affiliation with either party and conducted their assessment based on standard diagnostic procedures and objective findings.
Furthermore, attached to this letter are images of text message correspondence from ***** ******, which support the position previously communicated and provide additional clarity regarding the events in question.
In light of this evidence and the findings by Altaquip, we consider this matter closed.

Purchase date 6/17/2024. First complaint about the operation was emailed on 7/10/2024. The issue resolved itself in August 2024 but the feature became inoperable completely in April 2025. The item is a lawnmower with a self propel feature. The feature was intermittent at first but inoperable now. This lawnmower has a two year warranty. It was only in operation for four months as i live in ***. The company wants an official diagnosis however there arent any service centers within 50 miles of my home. I purchased a two stage 212cc 26 powersmart snow blower and Ive only used it about 10 times and the vibration from engine loosened up the chute so much that it spins all by itself. Most of the units came with a compression spring/bolt that u could tighten for that problem but for some reason mine dont have one. I contacted powersmart *************************** and ********************************** about the problem. Only heard back from powersmartusa. *** from customer service said she needed some more info, receipt, model number etc. So I sent everything she wanted plus more and then I never heard back again. Like the customer service is a joke. So now Im stuck having to use a bungee cord to keep my chute from spinning wherever it wants to.Business Response

Jan 13, 2025 I purchased a Amerisun Snow blower through ******. The snow blower was delivered and missing a Choke Lever. I contacted Amerisun and they don't have any replacement parts. The Manufacturer doesn't have Replacement parts!!!??? Now I ask you how wild is that. We can't find a replacement for the original Choke Lever that never came with out purchase. I purchased a snow blower from ********** that was manufactured by Amerisun on 11/26/22. Shortly after, somewhere around the end of January, I was using the snow blower to move snow and a piece of welded metal that was necessary for controlling the movement functions of the snow blower snapped off (See image4 and image3). I attempted to reach out via their customer service number but was consistently waiting upwards of 40 min only for the automated line to hang up on me. I finally got through and spoke to a ******* who helped me get my warranty registered and she placed an order for parts that were not originally discussed, which took almost a month to arrive. I reached out immediately and informed them of the error, confirmed the part I needed and she confirmed receiving the information. Following this, I did not receive the requested part and was emailing them at least once a month between April and October, each time only getting excuses for why they had still not sent what was needed. I then reached out via telephone again, only to encounter the original issues, until finally getting a hold of ******. While she was able to get the correct part shipped to me, I had to send the same images for the third or fourth time, to show how the part had broken clearly demonstrating that they had not saved any notes about the interactions. While ****** was able to ship me the correct part that I needed, that part was now incompatible with my snow blower, with handle arms that were 2 inches shorter than the original, which made reassembly impossible. At this point my warranty has completely expired due to their incompetence. I was told that they would revisit this issue in the new year and, despite my following up through email in mid-January, they have gone completely radio silent, as they have before. At this point, I want either a replacement snow blower that is a better quality or my money refunded, at minimum.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: ******* ****** reached out to me on Tuesday 2/4 to follow up on this complaint that I have created. While in her response that she made here she indicated that she said the warranty is expired and I agreed to that, I do not recall that as I would have immediately reminded her that it was her company that has taken well over a year to provide a, thusfar, lackluster response to my claim. When I started this process my warranty was effective and only recently expired due to their negligence.Additionally, she verbally promised to reach back out to me, though email, on 2/5 with an update on timing for the delivery of a new part that would fix my issue. I have not received any communication, email or phone, that has provided me an update, timeline or assurance that they are even working on this issue. I expect that when a company tells me they will reach out that they will do so and not continue to give me the same treatment that they have been doing for OVER A YEAR.
I've attached both chains of emails that I have been consistently maintaining with the company where they continue the behavior of promising to fix things and then failing to do so.
