    I placed an order (#****-8225-7075SA) with ImportCDs.com on March 05, 2025, totalling $781.75. All items in this order were listed as pre-orders with the statement: "Future release: Item will ship as soon as it is available." As of April 07, 2025, multiple items have been released and are available on their website, yet my entire order remains unshipped.?Details:Misleading Shipping Policy: ImportCDs.com advertised that items would ship as they become available. Despite this, released items have not been dispatched.?Unresponsive ***************** I contacted their customer service on March 24, 27, 28, 29 & April 02 seeking clarification. The responses received were vague and contradictory:?"Our records indicate that the order is currently on hold until all items in the order are available."?"Unfortunately, the available items cannot be released due to the insurance proposed and this cannot be waived."?Subsequent follow-up emails have gone unanswered.?Lack of Transparency: The reasons provided for withholding shipment were not disclosed at the time of purchase.?Desired Resolution:I seek the immediate shipment of the available items in my order, as well as any future pre-orders to be shipped upon release, as per the advertised policy. Additionally, I request that ImportCDs.com apologises for their poor handling of my order and make assurances that any future orders with them will be handled in accordance with their advertised policies.

    The order was being held for all items to become in stock to be shipped together due to customs fees that would be charged when the order reached the delivery country of Australia.  Customer ultimately requested that the order be cancelled as he did not want to wait for all 20 items to be in stock and we cancelled the order.  He was not charged for the order since nothing was shipped.

    I am rejecting ImportCDSs response for the following reasons:

    While the order has since been cancelled at my request, their explanation is both inconsistent and misleading. Initially, the company claimed the order was being held for insurance reasons, and now they claim it was to avoid customs issues in *********. This is simply untrue. The only customs delays I experience are when large orders are shipped in bulk  not when items are sent in smaller batches.  

    In fact, had ImportCDS followed their advertised policy  Item will ship as soon as it is available  the pre-order items would have shipped individually or in smaller groups, avoiding the very customs issues theyre now using as justification for withholding the order.  Instead, the entire order was delayed without notice, in direct contradiction of the advertised shipping policy, and with no transparency at checkout.

    At minimum, I am requesting that ImportCDS clarify  publicly and in writing  whether they intend to honor their advertised shipping policy for future international pre-orders. If the policy has changed, this must be clearly disclosed on their website to avoid misleading customers.

    I have contacted importcds.com three times via email (on 12/7, 12/12, 12/14) about returning a damaged item (Red: 50th Anniversary CD set item #************) that I received with Order 3012-0305-0564SA. I cannot get a response from the company. I would like to be issued a pre-paid return shipping label and be issued a full refund of $44.84 for the item.

    The item the customer purchased Avatar: The Way of Water on blu-ray is temporarily out of stock and will be shipped when the item becomes available.  If the customer no longer wants the order they will need to contact us directly to cancel the order and receive a full refund.

    I backordered The ************** The Fifth Season on August 2, 2023 and was billed for $28.80. I requested a refund on August 3, 2023 because I discovered that the item I paid for is out of print, so the backorder will never be filled.I was told by e-mail that my money would be returned to me, but I still haven't been issued my refund.My order number is 2141-1174-5373SA I want my $28.80 returned to me.

    Our records indicate that the authorization that was taken at the time of the order will fall off the customer's account and the funds will be returned back to the customer's available credit as we do not post a charge unless the item has been shipped.

    I purchased a CD from their site on November 20th 2022. On November 21st I requested the order be cancelled. On Wednesday the 23rd, they claimed that it could not be cancelled. I returned the CD to sender via U.S. Mail. I see that they only refunded me $14.07 vs the $17.22 that was originally paid. I request that they refund the difference.

    When customers return unwanted merchandise, that is at the expense of them. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

    As a goodwill gesture, the shipping charges have been refunded, as a one time only courtesy.
