I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding repeated and unwanted contact from a debt collection agency attempting to collect a debt that I do not owe and have no knowledge of. I have no prior dealings or accounts with this company, and I believe their actions constitute harassment and a violation of my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).Despite having no obligation or association with the alleged debt, the collection agency has continued to contact me by phone and text. I have:Never received a valid verification or breakdown of the alleged debt;No knowledge of the original creditor or account in question;Informed the agency that I do not owe this debt and requested they cease communication.Business Response

********* Lending sent my account to ********************** on 07/17/25, despite the fact that I had already reached out to them disputing the balance and offering settlement. In my complaint to ********* Lending (copies of all correspondence is attached), I requested a copy of my loan agreement, disputed usurious and predatory interest rates and offered settlement in the amount of $550.00. ********* Lending agreed to accept $550.00 as settlement in full, however their response was e-mailed to me as I was dealing with two (2) deaths in the family with the subject line "Response to your Application" vs. "Response to Complaint", and therefore I failed to see it until today. Customer Care Global is attempting to collect an illegal debt under California State Law. ********* Lending is not licensed to do business in the State of **********, and they are charging an exorbitant amount of interest that I cannot report here considering they never provided a copy of my loan agreement under FDCPA *******. I have paid $500.00 towards a $1,050.00 loan and yet ********* Lending states I still owe $973.96. Customer Care Global needs to cease all collection efforts and return the account to ********* Lending. Separate complaints will be filed with other State and Federal enforcement agencies if this request is ignored. Again, Customer Care Global is attempting to collect a debt on behalf of a company who is not licensed to do business in the State of **********, for a loan that is predatory and usurious and should cease collection efforts immediately.Business Response

Left me a voice mail from an unknown number not associated with their business. They made passive threats like contacting friends and family (by name) and claimed, "this is not going away". They referred to themselves as "CIG" VS "CCG" making it difficult to determine what is what without calling. I was able to figure it out searching my email. I have sent them a cease and desist to stop ASAP including family and friend contact. Shameful.Business Response

All of the phone numbers we use are owned by ***. All of the numbers we use ring back to CCG. Our agents are required to use the ***** limited content message. if the consumer would like to provide the number of the call we could investigate further and see if one of our agents violated company policy.
In the meantime we have closed the account and all efforts to contact the consumer have ceased.

Customer Care Global has been texting, emailing, and calling me relentlessly over the past several months. I have never answered their attempted contacts until recently during that time because of my belief that it was yet another scammer. I finally answered one of their calls a few days ago to ask who they were at what they wanted. The ***resentative rudely told me that he was a debt collector and that I have an outstanding loan with an (unaccredited) "company" called WithU loans for $2900. He then abruptly (and rudely) told me he was forwarding me to with a loan *** with WithU loans. I truthfully told him that I have never, and would never, contract a load with WithU loans. I am financially secure and don't need a loan, especially from a no-name "company" like WithU loans! I immediately hung up on him and blocked his number hoping they would leave me alone. But alas, they are already harassing me again from other phone numbers. From what I have read about WithU loans, they have a history of attempting to, or succeeding in, depositing loan money in unsuspecting victim's accounts without their permission or knowledge. I thought this is what might have happened to me considering that one of my credit ***orts showed that WithU Loans submitted three "Soft Inquiry" credit searchers on me in November 2024 which is about the time this harassment began. Fortunately, however, my three free credit ***orts from Equifax, Esperian, and Transunion (dated 7/9/2025) all confirm that I never have had a loan with WithU loans. Still, I want to file a complaint against both WithU Loans and Customer Care Global for the harassment and concern I have been feeling that my identify and information had been stolen. I want them to cease contacting me with their attempt to scam me into a fraudulent loan! I have copies of two of the credit ***orts that I can forward to the BBB, the **** or my lawyer if needed to prove my claim of no loans with WithU Loans.Business Response

Attempts to contact consumer's regarding alleged debts are always stressful. All of our texts and emails provided easy access to "Stop" texting and/or emailing. In addition, when a consumer disputes a debt or states the account is fraudulent we immediately cease collection activity and provide the consumer with the validation of the debt. If upon receipt of the validation the consumer has determined it is not their account we permanently close the account and return it to our client.
Based upon the details of the complaint it appears the consumer did not use the stop options nor communicate they believed the account was fraudulent.
We have now closed the account and returned it to our client

On July 8, 2025, Customer Care Global is attempting to collect a debt on behalf of ****************** for a loan that is charging illegal interest under New Mexico State law. In ********** predatory lending became illegal on January 1, 2023, caping interest at 36%. I didnt receive any letters from Customer Care Global in the mail. I noticed I had started receiving calls from them last week, so I looked them up online and logged into the collections account under my name and found that they are attempting to collect $1753.17 for River Valley Loans. I barrowed a total of $1931.00 in 2023 and made payments equaling in the amount of $3078.83. That is $1147.00 (165%) in interest. If anything, ****************** **** me $1931. I am requesting that Customer Care Global cease and desist collection efforts immediately and not make any reports on my credit on behalf of ******************, as this is a violation of my consumer rights.Business Response

I woke up to a charge of $370 from customer care global. I emailed the online manager and they stated It has been brought to our attention that our payment processor processed an archived payment associated with your account. We are currently investigating the issue and hope to have a resolution expeditiously. We appreciate your patience and understanding.I have not been in contact with this company for almost 3 years. How did this happen?!? $370 is a lot of money.Business Response

I had a tribal loan that I got online through Three Sticks Lending. I could not keep up with their horribly high biweekly payments so I stopped payments. They sent me into a third party collection agency, Customer Care Global. I see on my Three Sticks account I had an offer for nearly $600 as a payoff. I contacted both parties. Three Sticks said the offer was no longer valid and refused to speak to me and Customer Care Global directed me back to Three Sticks. After some back and forth, I settled on paying the basically $600 that I saw on my Three Sticks account to settle my account. It still says on my Three Sticks Lending page that I owe and am in collections. I asked Customer Care Global about this. They claim they only update Three Sticks about people who have paid off their accounts once a month on the 5th day. I paid them on May 1. So why was I told I would have to wait for it to be reported until June 5? And I was also told I'd have to wait until June for my credit to be updated if it was showing up on my report. Why would they not report this immediately?I have a hard time believing how a tribal loan is even an enforceable debit. I live in **** and I feel their rates probably exceed the legal limit of my state. **** has a payday loan cap of 28% APR and a personal loan cap of 8%. I also saw that Customer Care Global was involved in a class action lawsuit back in August of 2024 for collecting on illegal debts.I would like my credit corrected if impacted and I feel I should have this debt cleared and receive my money paid back. These are unfair traps that prey on those in serious need of emergency funds. These are considered predatory loans in my eyes. They should not be allowed to offer loans to people from online. They should have to only offer loans within their tribe/reservation jurisdiction.Business Response

Three Sticks Lending issues loan following all Federal Guidelines. Creditors may choose to accept a one time payment or series of payments for less than the full amount owed as a means of resolving a debt. These agreements typically state the Creditor will not pursue the remaining balance. It does not zero the balance out.
CCG did accept $599.77 on behalf of our client and the account is marked settled in full. The reason the posting to the client is not immediate is we remit per a predetermined schedule and then the client updates the their LMS.
Please advise if the consumer would like to rescind their settlement. If so we will process a refund and return the account to the original creditor.

Customer Care Global is attempting to collect a debt on behalf of Three Sticks Lending for a loan that is charging illegal interest under California Law. I never received a formal letter in the mail from Customer Care Global advising me that they are seeking to collect a debt; only an e-mail and several text messages. Three Sticks Lending has already recovered 20% in payments above and beyond my original loan amount and yet are still seeking over $1955 in interest and fees despite numerous attempts to resolve in good faith. Now that I have done my research, I see that a) Three Sticks Lending is not licensed in the State of California and b) are charging a ******% APR on the loan - both of which are illegal. Customer Care Global needs to cease and desist attempting to collect this debt on behalf of ******************** considering they are attempting to violate my consumer rights. I want them to cease and desist collection efforts immediately and remove any credit reporting tying their company to my account with Three Sticks Lending.Business Response
