I established a service with Soji cleaners at a quoted rate for 40$/hr with a 10% discount for weekly service. On 2.1.2024, the cleaning service charged a rate of 40$/hr, however, declined to ***** the previously agreed upon 10% discount for weekly service. Additionally, they added a *****% service charge which was not previously discussed nor agreed upon. When I called to ask about the failed discount application and the new addition of a service charge I was told these were new changes and that my rate moving forward was to be 45$/hr and that discounts were to no longer be given. I was also informed of the addition of a regular service charge. I express my concern with a company that changes their billing practices without informing their customers. I was not given a discount when this was previously agreed upon and I was not informed of the addition of a service charge. If a company is changing their billing practices they should inform their customers prior to providing the service. The bill that was previously agreed upon should have been $168, however, due to these new unannounced changes we were charged $199.03.Thank you for your time, ***********************Business response

This company confirmed my booking for a cleaning and scheduled with me directly. I believe the company is a scam. They never showed up for the cleaning, and then broke into my condo 3 hours after the appointment time. They never called me and I repeatedly attempted to contact them. A random woman was in my home when I got here and said no one could be here. It was not the assigned cleaner, who has a different name. I called the owner, ****** to rectify. He called me inappropriate words and insults and hung up on me. He said he hates people like me, but he's a business owner who failed to provide a service. Service never rendered. ***** untruthful in her complaint. We were in constant communication with her and did not charge for service because it was not completed. She also wrote someone stole from her, that is completely untrue because she never mentioned that to us, and for the 3 year ********* has worked with us, she will never jeopardize her job.
The reason we were late her her appointment was that the original cleaner scheduled for her cleaning got into an accident. From our part we dropped the ball by not informing her immediately. Although we were working in the background to have someone clean her home, we notified her 30 minutes later and this is because during a hectic day which involves an accident, we wanted to make sure the employee was okay physically and mentally.
We called ***** and told her that ********* is on her way, she was very upset and rightfully so. ***** told us she has counseling at 2:15pm and she would want us to be done by then. I told her I dont think she be done by then but we will try to get her ready by then. I also proposed if we could come after her counseling session.
One thing to note is never did she ask how the cleaner in the accident was doing.

I am rejecting this response because:The business lied and attached a message FROM ME! They never were in ANY communication with me! Yes, please. I have screenshots of him calling me disgusting and they also prove I contacted owner of this business ******* 15 minutes after appointment time and he never responded and never let me know the appointment was late or it was not possible to do it at any point, which is why I am saying Sojis business is a scam. They arent actually providing a service, or letting customers with booked appointments know they wont come. As soon as ***** knew I had to leave for work, he knew I wouldnt be home, and was going to say someone cleaned and fulfilled my appointment when they did not. This business needs to be investigated.

***** did not pay for this service. She is one of those people going around, getting services from small businesses and refusing to pay. And Im offended with her calling my business a scam. I shared the text message snapshots with our direct conversation.
As a business owner I am responsible for providing great service to our clients and also protect my employees from toxic people like her who want to take advantage of them, treating them like subhuman.

I am rejecting this response because:It is unacceptable for a business owner to verbally abuse me and the things he is saying about me, a former customer, are untrue. His business is a scam and he is verbally abusive to customers and I will fight to protect other customers from the abuse from ****** it is not okay and I must help his other abuse victims.
